No matter what gloves they wear or how they dress it up, Fury wins at boxing rules and Ngannou wins in MMA rules. A Kickboxing match would be the most interesting to see between these two

Absolutely Francis beats Tyson in the octagon. No way is he going to deal with leg kicks and grappling. In boxing ring Tyson has more than enough ability to defeat Francis who would only have a punchers chance.
Just as Nganu has a punches chance in boxing, Fury has a punches chance in MMA
Am I the only one that doesn't care to see this match up? I love both guys but I don't want to see this as it will be one sided in either of their disciplines.

Yes I agree with this from a selfish perspective as I want to see both competing at the highest level in their respected disciplines. However, I think Francis deserves to make a huge pay day.

@@ronishshrestha7111 It’s not about fair, Fury is doing Francis a favour so it should be on his terms. Fury doesn’t need this, he would make more money and clout by boxing up AJ/Usyk. This is the the pinnacle for Francis.

No it wouldn't. Fury is a boxer, he doesn't utilise kicks, elbows, knees, or anything like that. It's just footwork and punches. Ngannou would kick his legs off, then take him down and choke him out.
Francis would maul him. Gane actually knows grappling.

Ehhh, we don't know that, most heavyweights haven't had their punches tested. We also don't know the accuracy of this sensor Francis used. All we know is he hits like an absolute truck.

@@niallash2315 But Fury is a professional boxer and very hard to hit clean. He can read what his opponent is about to do and he can stay out of range. He fought Wilder 3 times so this argument about a power puncher being able to overcome Fury has been made before. Fury is too good technically. Power punches are no good if they are not hitting the target

Its not a fair fight. Tyson can use all his boxing skills. While FN basically gets 60% of his mma skills taken away. Stupid.
A lot of boxing technique can rely on shielding with the gloves and uses the rope to slip punches - both these things go if they do cage and ufc gloves. It's why mayweather never agreed to this against connor - same arguments. I do feel like Tyson has a little less ego to hold on to all these rules. So it could happen

Fury would win as long as legs aren’t involved.. Francis is incredible and no one can deny that, but he’s got the movement and evasiveness of Fury or the punching skill. But it wouldn’t stop Francis from landing an insane shot.. he’s still one of the top athletes of his generation

But no one believes that would ever happen. They obviously ran this simulator a hundred times, until Fury won, then posted it up here. Fury isn't a mixed martial artists. Fury couldn't even beat a world champion kickboxer, let alone an MMA fighter.
As expected for an EA game there is no nuance and neither Ngannou nor Fury actually move like the real life counterparts, they all move the same, punch the same. Just re-skinned puppets.

Ngannou has the hardest punch by force/lbs measurement. Wilder has speed and a great turn, but I feel Ngannou’s sheer strength and follow through makes a huge difference. Plus his hands are larger so the feeling of that in a face will shock more as it’ll cover a larger surface. If thinner gloves are worn, it’ll make a difference
@@MichaelSmith-me7cm Exactly what I've said. It's two different types of power. Wilder had that extreme fast twitch/hand speed power. Ngannou has that fast twitch power, combined with much more muscle mass, and bone mass/density. Just compare their frames. Wilder is longer and lankier, leverage/handspeed = how he hits hard. Ngannou is more bulky, proportionally and overall. Most definitely is stronger, and tanker than Wilder aswell

Francis wouldn't get ko'ed in one round. In boxing, Francis would lose, but he'd probably go several rounds, like McGregor vs Mayweather. They should have a hybrid fight. First round boxing, second round MMA, third round boxing, fourth round MMA. That's fair.
