- Another day on the ship, this time docked at Khor Fakken, due to a cancelled excursion because of heavy rain. An evening in The Glass House restaurant.

I love oxtail! Especially in a soup! Great video mate, I remember on my day skipper training the saying “the captain left his red port behind” to remind me Left is Port and it’s a Red light, so starboard is Right and Green light.
Thanks! Yeah, I know my port & starboard, just forgot I was sitting facing aft at the time. Only realised my mistake when I edited the video!
Andy & Kirstie oh was not saying you did not know mate, I was positive you did, I just found the line helped me remember, same as I always say “never eat shredded wheat” to remember west from east, old habits lol. Also helped me remember the colour of the lights as well.

Thankyou for these great Vlogs,brings back happy memories when we were on Discovery in September...We too had a meal in the Glass house,.we noticed a lot of smoke coming from the hot stone meals what other passengers were eating..whilst we were deciding what to choose,so we never chose that..we chose the tapas and pizza instead,..did the smoke get in your eyes?
It did a bit, there was a lot of smoke, but it cleared eventually!

Thanks! I have a few different cameras, but my main vlogging camera is a Sony A7mk3 with a couple of different lenses and I use a Gopro Max 360 for some shots. I'm going to do a 'what's in my camera bag' video at some point, so watch out for that!

Marella is definitely worthy of consideration, especially as alcoholic drinks and gratuities are included. A bit less formal than P&O. We prefer the main dining on Marella, food is excellent.
You kept getting things cancelled. I'm assuming the cruise line credited you for the cancellations..?.
Yes, any money we had spent on excursions was refunded, that's it.
On marella dicovery, do they hold formal nights . thanks
Marella have what they call 'dress to impress nights' which is their version of a formal night, but they're pretty relaxed about it. If you watch our vlog released today at 3pm (UK) you'll see I'm sat in the main dining room in a dinner jacket and a guy walks passed wearing shorts.

Do you have to pay for tea and coffee or its included ?
Tea and coffee is included and is available all day, however it's an extra charge in the coffee shop for things like a latte, capaccino etc.
