Driven by these questions, filmmaker and artist Yann Arthus-Bertrand spent three years collecting real-life stories from 2,000 women and men in 60 countries. Working with a dedicated team of translators, journalists and cameramen, Yann captures deeply personal and emotional accounts of topics that unite us all; struggles with poverty, war, homophobia, and the future of our planet mixed with moments of love and happiness.
The VOL.1 deals with the themes of love, women, work and poverty.

While watching the film I went through many emotions: I was sad, I was affected, I was impressed, I was breathless, I was curious, I had tears, I had to laugh, I was thoughtful, I felt pity, I felt powerless , I wanted to help, I agreed - very often I consented, I felt happiness. Incredibly moving, you captured and defined the globe and it’s current very real greatness and sadness. This is a testimony that the UN or WHO do not serve humanity and its deprived areas of need! This needs to be viewed by all apparent leaders of the globe , We are all humans of the earth to share. The corporations should be collapsed and taken its wealth and shared amongst those who need the most basic human rights to live the land. My God we have soulless evil elites growing their wealth, your time will come to an end. Humanity will rise, you are few, we are many 🙏. Let restoring to humanity begin. Watching the documentary broke my heart witnessing the struggle and suffering of every human being. However, I am beyond mesmerized of how beautiful and pure we are despite the diversity. We always end up being and seeking love to become happy and complete. Maybe that's the true nature of human. A man that lacks, has struggle, incompleteness, vengeance, hatred and other dense feelings yet at the end of the day we look back then regret. An evidence that makes us what we truly are "perfectly imperfect" as a being.
Nonetheless, the film affects my perceptions of humanity by showing to me the reality and profound of life. The reality of where I live in and how human acts based on their needs, credence and wants. Thus, this made realize and reflect that we should learn, understand, give gratitude and love to our mankind. Big applause and congratulations to the director, staffs and the people who shared their life in order to convey the true essence of life, how it complements and balance our way of living.
Contained within the videos this channel offers us are the most brutal and beautiful truths you can find anywhere in anyplace.
WOW - an amazing piece of art - insight - reality - understanding - balance - summary of HUMAN. Thank you so much for putting this to public. What makes us human is to realize that plus and minus, black and white, dark and light, top and bottom exist and will keep existing to the day we use our nature given ingenuity to break through that wall that is not made by nature but by the early discovery phase of power we have gotten, but like young male unable to control. Today It makes us chose one or the other side. Once HUMAN develop further we will be able to tell to help any human to become what they want and end the the idea that we need "workers and warriors" to build a wealthy society but happy people to build a wealthy society - wealthy in intellectual, emotional and social wealth. For a moment I was thinking that the human ingenuity and abilities are missing - but then I realized I'm talking about the 0.1% of humans that happen to enjoy that side. For the other 99.9% it doesn't matter - yet. And if I take one thing away - we need to work on the 0.1% aware of their amazing opportunity. Because even the most powerful will only reach their highest potential when everybody else reached their highest potential. Thanks @ThomasKern for sharing.

Thank you for breathing life into the human cause, because you cared enough to do so. So many people leave no shadow behind when they are gone. How is one man revered while another is deemed unworthy of life? How is it come that one man can take the life of another without retribution? How is it sanctioned to take a human life under the guise of religion? How can any government put a gun in a man's hand and send him off to die? In these modern times full of new invention, ships to Mars, a quality of life like never before, how can it be that the balance of scales is still tipped toward the West while so many have the misfortune of being born elsewhere. Food, water, education and life without fear is every man's right. Human rights fall under religious choice and freedom of lifestyle, but never to be controlled by religion's doctrines and corrupt government. I don't have answers, just questions, but I as one man will do what I can to help make the necessary changes to allow this race to survive with equality for all.

This is published on 14th April 2020. With reference to India, yes it takes a super-human effort to right the wrongs inflicted on a rich and balanced land and people by 1070 years of exploitation, cruelty, greed and demonaic inhumanity. Six years is not enough, but a beginning has been made. Maybe that could be added as a postscript of hope.

All the people in this world should look at it at one time, we are all of one blood, a part of each other. When you look underneath, we're all human. After we take the labels off, look underneath the skin we are the same yet all different, the labels we put on each other in our minds.
