That's the biggest reason I couldn't get into Chris Angel's Mind Freak show. He performed his magic for paid actors who pretended to be amazed, but you can just tell they were faking it. All of the "random" bystanders were in on the trick.
It's cool when you give props to other magicians.

Hey there! You've actually been my favorite tiktok magician for a long time. Couple of weeks ago I started to self-study some card tricks and stuff, and now I've found out you happen to have YT channel w daily videos! Watched both of your tutorials after watching tons of others and tbh, your ones are just great! So cozy, kind an warm, no words can actually describe it man. I've got two card decks for me which are Bicycle Hidden and Theory11 Monarchs. So I instantly found out that they're soooooo different yet both very nice to work with. So, to sum up, I'd really love to get some card decks review and advice from you sometime, it would really be cool

I don't know how the sword trick works but I would imagine that the clips activate a mechanism inside that rotates the man slightly, enough to misalign him from the holes, and the swords pass between the man's appendages
Just a silly patter suggestion for your opening trick: The second time you could say you're going to skip the snap (since you said it does nothing the first time), then when the red card doesn't seem to appear you can say, "oh, maybe the snap does matter..." I don't know, just a thought that came to me, so I figured I'd share it.

Quick guess: The "pepper" in the lady's left han is a substance that changes colour to white (or evaporates) when it gets heated by her closed hand. This might take a while, so the magician has to delay her opening her hand by waving his hands around slowly and pour his own pepper into her right hand before she opens her left hand.
Edit: I'm not a magician, and most, if not all, tricks I see deceive me. But this solution seems logical and easily applicable.
I love Doug Conn's stuff...would love to see you do a little thing on Jimmy Talksalot too. Jimmy is such a great performer and a great guy...

I have a couple different ways of doing mr. danger--one involves actual sleights (to mess with people who know the method)! Such a cool design tho

At 1:18 point about 15 frames in, the cards moves slighlt just as you snap your fingers. Was that on purpose or just circumstantial. It was a fun, if tiny detail.

I don't know how the swords went thru the plastic. Since you have it, why not show us. Please. Also, Shin Lim moved the hearts on a card as one of his tricks on AGT. Now I know where he got it from.
The plastic seems solid, the swords must have missed the plastic man. So ask yourself : how to ensure to miss it ? I only see one possability : moving the man out of the way, swords will punkture air and not the man. How to move the man out of the way, you ask .. well i wonder why he needs to "secure" the contraption... i dont own the item but i try to do abit of logic on it so i come to the conclusion : the "securing" pushes some rod into the contraption as well in order to rotate and shift the inner cabinet and make room for the swords.i guess ...maybe one "secure triangle" pushes the inner up the other "secure triangle" one rotates it slightly.... kind of deduction with abit of occam's razor.

This trick bugged the heck out of me when I first saw it. I took some screen shots and made a cardboard "man" and a rectangular background with sword hole dots. The mock-up had to be VERY precise, but you can find where the man is moved to when some leaver system is pushed by the corner securing inserts. The little guy is presumably held in place by a flexible part of the casing that's not strong enough to resists his movement but will return him back to his central position when the corner tabs get removed. Give it a go yourself Baby!

I have a similar trick with a coin in a container, but I cant see how that solution would apply to this trick.

These videos are fun, but you seem to keep choosing really gross clips from Pete Firman, including last year (day 36 of your 2023 challenge), when he inserted a rubber band into his eye. Granted, they ARE his videos, but he has way better clips to choose from. Next time, perhaps choose one of his rope routines. Also, I’d love to know the secret behind the Jeremy Tan sword trick.♣️

The first person, in addition to his focuses, is also known for his special video focuses. Frankly, I'm sick of seeing paid reactions, hired artists, all the same, in his videos.
It gets kind of annoying when you have it in the subscription and you see more of the same people than tricks...

Some revealers are alright. Like Magic Girl for reasons understood by the male mind. And the Masked Magician, because of the antiquated nature of the tricks revealed. And you have taught me a few things, my friend. I draw the line where tricks are revealed from proprietary products from Tenyo for example.
