This is very important question! we use "zanim" with verbs (usually in past or present tense):
Umyj ręce, zanim zjesz obiad.
Zanim coś zrobisz, pomyśl.
Zanim zjadłam śniadanie, wzięłam prysznic.
Is there a contrastive structure preposition+verb that corresponds to the English structure after+verb: "After I have taken a shower, I have breakfast."? Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
Could be: po tym, jak wziąłem prysznic..., but usually just: po prysznicu zjadłem śniadanie.
