That moment when a kid left his Charmander on a rock in the rain essentially killing it, knowing full well it’d die if it stayed there with its tail out.
Pretend that theres a pokemon battle nearby and a Blastoise used rain dance and a dragonite used hurricane it could be pokemon battle or just rain
yep that was a P.O.S kid.
The confusing thing is... Didn't that become Ash's pokemon? And LATER... As a charizard... Right? Or is charizard the second form? Eh! The one with wings! At that point it just full on out ignored Ash. Some nonsense about them not recognizing him as a good trainer. Realistically though? That's right... Ash just kept going from gym to gym, never working on catching AND TRAINING wild pokemon. Sucks to be on team Ash. I bet Gary (I think was the Eng. dub name) wasn't such a slouch. :I Plus? He had TWO experienced trainers travelling with him! HELLO?! How did they ever get left in charge of any gym...? At least the games had them STAYING in the gyms... And they generally knew what they did... But in the show? They seemed oblivious. :I

Bulbasaur is the best gen 1 starter
Reasons: double type since first form, effective against the first 3 gym leaders straight up at the start, (super effective to the first two), grows up faster, has sleep powder and poison powder, that can be used to easily catch more pokemon as you adventure

OMG! I was going through my pokemon handbook and I found this entry for chimchar. "Even the rain can't put out chimchar's fiery tail, which is fueled by the gases in its stomach.". The exact same thing as the theory.

THE ANIMAL KINGDOM -HOW VENOM WORKS
Actually all 3 starters have their merits:
-Bulbasaur is the most veristile and all out most consistent starter
-Squirtle has the best stats from these starters (talking more about Blastoise here) and is good team anker
-Charmander would usualy be my last choice, since the other2 make the start a cakewalk, but he is a good firetype and if you don't take him it will take a while until you get another usefull firetype.
Orkan Unless you get iron claw before meeting Brock. But still, synthesis, leech seed and giga drain 4 life (literally)

Fire whirls and Fire tornadoes (or technically, Pyrotornadoes) are actually separate phenomena.
Fire whirls are just as Matpat described, however they can produce windspeeds equivalent to tornadoes. The Carr fire in 2018 produced an enormous fire whirl which caused wind damage comparable to an EF3 Tornado with windspeeds around 150mph. It melted cars and tore the bark off trees before hurling them around.
Fire Tornadoes, AKA Pyrotornadoes, are a recently classified phenomenon that are much closer to real tornadoes. The updraft of a wildfire can sometimes produce its own thundercloud, a Pyrocumulonimbus cloud. Under certain conditions, this fire-induced thunderstorm can rotate and take om the characteristics of a Supercell, the type of storms that produce tornadoes, and with the extra boost of the fire's updraft, a tornado can form and touch down inside the fire.

I have a question if two fully evolved pokemon breed would it make their fist evolution or their final evolution
1. Charmander is much less resilient than a Charizard, and may not Yet be hardy enough to survive underwater. 2. I see no reason why the gen 1 and gen 2 pokedex entries can't agree, they aren't necessarily at odds. I think that the tail flame is a status indicator BECAUSE it's an integral part of that fire pokemon's metabolism, one that in weaker pokemon can be disrupted, often with fatal results. So, if the flame is linked to the pokemon systemically, then the flame can be affected by the overall health of the pokemon, and in younger pokemon, who haven't yet developed a strong constitution, the flame can be effected by outside influences, like rainwater.

Psychic ability. Same way pokemon like Alakazam and Gardevoir can use thunderbolt. A better question is, how can Absol use Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt without anything to generate those abilities?
@@hiraethhfps Well, that would explain thunderbolt at least. But most Psychic types, like my examples above, can't learn ice beam or flamethrower.

In the XYZ pokemon leauge, Alan's charizard puts (splashes) its tail into the stream in the battle arena, and is unnafected by it. Wait a second... engulfing fire in water would make it go out instantly... better watch the rest of the vid first.
