Texas A&M Industrial Fire School - Chemical Pump Row Burn

This was the first burn of the day at Texas A&M Fire School - TEEX. This project is called Pump Row. Video captured using one GoPro Hero 3 Black edition camera and one DJI Phantom 2 Vision with Dronexpert gimbal. Texas A&M is the largest fire training facility in the world. It has industrial fire training as well as interior and other fire training facilities.

If you come across a Mr. Jim Gillespie teaching there, tell him Dale says hello. Jim works for the school there. Big and tall guy. I worked with him and he was working for my company when this video was shot and Jim was there with this video.

Did you have any problems flying drone being so close to the airport??

I called airport and got permission prior to flying. Had approval from A&M also, but during a big meeting they saw it and grounded me. Said they had no procedure so only got one video before getting grounded. Never got permission again the next year either.
