It's insane such a beguilingly 'simple' song had so many contributing to its creation.OR that it's been around since 1998?! I think Brian Higgins et al would be blown away by your raw parred back reinterpretation. And it's lovely to hear it without "The Cher Effect". I hope you've chosen it because you love it & not because you've been through a painful break-up; I had been, the summer I played in all most non stop! The video is fine,but,instead would be interesting to see the boys from your amazing "You don't want to dance" video,reprise their parts - as an antidote to the high energy pride vids this month? REGARDLESS, it was wonderful & before I collapse into bed in London, I just want to say,kudos. I'm so happy to be one of the first 2/3 to have had the honour to hear it. I found you via SMYLES, their banging club remix is great, but I like this sorta stripped back version too. I want you to know that the words in this mean a lot to me as I'm 64 & disabled from a fall off a roof trying to rescue abandoned seagul chicks 21 years ago, Now I'm 64 & have been told I may have cancer, but got more tests to do as 1st was positive but 2nd was a negative reading possibly due to all the pain meds I take. So I am going to "stay strong" and "believe" I can get thru' this, especially with the kind love & support of my family, my friends & my worldwide music friends in the ether. Thanks for this song Theo, good luck for your future buddy, you've got all your young life in front of you so never forget to live it to your utmost best, love, laugh & cry too. Remember to tell your family & friends you love them & how much they mean to you today as 1 day you may need their love back.
