5v at usually 0.5A.. usb3.0 runs at 0.9A.. more than enough to fuck you up.. this is a bad build.. need to insulate the whole hanger

This is super unsafe, and could end up killing you dont do this people. PS it takes longer then 5 minutes to do what is done here. But regardless dont be stupid enough to try this ever. My dad works with stuff like this all the time and its freakign dangerous.

IdreamofKPOP Why? 5 Volts cannot even damage a human.

Nothing stopping someone from using a badly made USB wall wart and end up dead.

only if they strangle themselves with the cord. You really can't hurt yourself with 5 volts.

Even if you stick TWO WIRES into a residential wall outlet and grab the wires odds of you ending up dead. Electrocuted? Sure but it's not even that bad, 110 isn't going to kill people in most cases.

Well, yes, you're right Robert, BUT... what if they strangle themselves with the wire? what then?

    A) Wrong tool to cut hangar
    B) The wire in the soldering iron is not what makes the top hit
    C) Current will follow through the hangar, which will greatly reduce the efficiency
    D) A USB cannot apply enough current.
    This video is a joke.

Destroy soldering iron, USB cable, a hard to find heavy gauge wire hanger and never borrow nor lend him, think it's male, unsure from cutout images, never lend anything to him/her... Such waste and how does the whole metal hanger and heating wire work??? They both conduct electricity, one better than the other. Most of those persons incarcerated are much more intelligent than the rest of the humans, just put that intellect to wrong use and got caught, much like this hot wire act. Wink. Hot wire act, hooded while restrained to a wooden chair. Get your mind out of the gutter, it's already standing room only, for this capital punishment, green mile, screw up.
