It's actually easy to download! You can find a guide on the Sims 2 help subreddit's wiki (I unfortunately can't link here bc YT doesn't like that). If you're worried about your internet provider freaking out (I had no problems with mine when I downloaded, but just in case) you can download a free VPN like Proton.

My advice? Just play sims 2, it's better anyways, it's free, there's tons of 1, 3, and 4 to 2 conversions.🖤👏 Plus, you don't have to deal with the EA app or updates lol

I'm loving the chalkboard UI you went over in another video, but man is this UI super tempting to install. I wonder if I could add the music from TS2 into the rotation of TS4 instead of just turning off the other music because I honestly love both.

I find it both funny and sad that the look and feel of a 20+ old game is preferred by the comment section WAY MORE than those of Sims 4. Like, Sims 2 is a great game. Still holds up well, definitely looks like an old game, yet still quite nice looking. (Granted, I am biased, I grew up with sims 2, and this game has carved its place into my chest cavity permanently) Guess it makes me appreciate the marvel of Sims 2 even more, huh. The Sims 4, on the other hand... 'meh' is the kindest I can call it, really.
Hi! I’m having some trouble with this and I hope someone can help me… Everything seems to be working fine and I am able to open the game, however when I go to actually play a family it seems like the loading screen is just stuck (it looks like it’s loading, but I’m not actually able to play) I have a pretty beefy computer and it’s never been an issue before. Only other mods I have in game are UI Cheats and MCCC. I read in the description that I have to make sure that UI cheats loads after the ts2 UI mod, however I’m not sure what that means?? I’ve tried taking UI cheats out but it still doesn’t seem to be working:( I did the exact same thing that the video told me to… Has anyone else experienced problems with this?
Oh wait I think it might be broken - I was able to load into a different save and it worked but I was unable to click on any buttons. Like nothing was working. That’s such a bummer…

The soft purple-blue of the Sims 2 UI feels so much nicer on the eyes despite the menus otherwise being unchanged. Not sure why.
