I got 6 years clean, there was a couple times I stumbled but did not fall. I worked the Katie Souza workbook while I was in prison. I found concepts that help shape my recovery even now. I got 3 years on the street. I walk as a man of God and am valued in the community as a good man. I thank you Katie Souza, and praise the name of God for his mercy.

I love how transparent Katie is. This is Powerful good. She is so funny too. At one time I was so bound, I couldn’t smile if I tried & that was at strangers in public. Not the ones I was offended at. I went home & looked in a mirror & tried to smile & I had to take my hand & push my face to smile. Praise God His ways are our way of escape from all the bad tactics of the enemy. Repent, forgive, plead The blood of Jesus, & resurrection Dunamis power as well as authority power of who we are in Christ Jesus. & you must renew your mind everyday. It’s a daily walk, but you get better at it after learning the rules. Offense will happen again, but now there’s a way to escape it. I know the author of it & he wants to divide & conquer our families & friends. I bring to mind it’s the enemy in them -not the person who doesn’t know better. & I say what Katie said, “ HOLY SPIRIT POSSESS MY SOUL! 😅

This woke me up to my sin of offense and the way I need to repent.
Most people, we minister to have offenses as root causes of what they’re going through.
What a great teaching I needed to hear this because every time my best friend and I pray I get offended with her because she feel she knows everything she don't take classes should have read the Bible so lately I have been getting offended with her attitude so I need to get rid of this in Jesus name.

Now I remember....I’ll fess up. I used to get so offended in my teens and twenties when anyone said anything about my body. I’d go to the plastic surgeon so he could fix it. I don’t do that anymore. I now see that I was too much of a people pleaser versus a God pleaser. Idolizing what others think of me is “ idolatry”. Yikes! Thank you Katie for this very helpful message. I hope it can save young Iadies.

What about when we get offended w non believers especially family members. I’m having a hard time knowing how to handle this
When you forgive believers or non believers its not excusing what they did. You forgive and let it go for yoursake, otherwise we give the enemy legal right to come attack us.
God will deal with those who have hurt you.
The Word tells us to pray for them. It's not easy in the beginning but it will get easier. You might not even mean it in the beginning but as you say Father in obedience to Your Word I choose to forgive .....for the pain and the hurt they have caused me wether it was intentional or unintentional.
Begin praying for God to bless them. Yes God says bless those who hurt you.
