- In this video we are taking a look Ibuki, Makoto and Dress Ako. We are looking at their skills, uses, how good they are and if you should pull for them or not. this video is longer than usual due to how long the skills themselves are and the new mechanics and possibilities these characters bring.

Interesting take on Makoto. All i can see is that she's gonna be OP in yellow Greg. Still, the waifu factor really is a lot of BAs appeal and seeing her chibi interaction with Hina is something Makoto can't provide.
Btw, her basic skill effects on both Normal and Dress Hina. Swimsuit Hina doesn't have it due to summer training session that time

Tbh, i think the binah strat you suggested was interesting but in torment its hard to do in practice. Because, when you're running the mika/akane/maki comp, your last striker slot is guaranteed to go to a 350 range red tank that doesn't take cover (e.g. eimi/haruka) to redirect the laser cause otherwise your team is gonna get wiped. However, the def shred alone from D.Ako is enough reason for me to pull her, more def shred tools to binah tor is always welcome🥰
I think an interesting thing to consider for Ako is that is also allows you to do some interesting two team strategies if necessary, like P.Ako+NY.Fuuka and UI+Ako and then borrow someone else for the second team like a Mika for each team. Don't know if that's really necessary rn but I could see it in the future
Yeah there are many possibilities. That's why it is really hard to judge this banners.
Makoto with the right team set up and costs might be able to clear Commisions very fast. I'll wait patiently for her in Global. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Hina. I must complete the collection (I have S. Hina and Regular Hina).
Next week when Hina releases and we get the full numbers :D. I can tell you now that she will probably be amazing
Hmm, Ibuki pretty much is my girl after doing some investment in her. I found her link formation to be handy when I leveled up her and Iroha while testing, and she felt pretty great. Sadly, I can only spare so many gems that I’ll skip the dress versions of Prefect and Makoto so I can be in copium support. Thanks in advance. 🤕
Man i have been giga lucky. I got two dress ako in one free 10 pull, then Makoto the next day. I still have 30 free pulls coming, so I maybe ill go for 5* ako. Ty for the first look content. Luckily this time i dont have to pick one, but it usually helps me make pulling decisions.

Concerning Makoto, if she is going to be the start of Grand Assault Greg units, I really hope we're also going to get some Mystic damage dealers into special slots.
Right now the only one that targets more than one enemy is Iroha, and while she is amazing, I'm not really sure how well she'd do at Greg, since her big shot only hits five enemies at max. Also, pretty sure that S.Saki's buff doesn't apply to Toramaru.
For the Penetration damage, we already had Moe, Casual Saya, NY.Serika, as well as Yoshimi for really budget choice.
...But then again, Mystic has whole bunch of AoE Striker units, all of who also have the right defense type.
Yeah, I think we are getting a "mystic Minori" if we want to put it like that. Time will tell :D
@@sherlockyt I kinda wonder Mystic Greg will work with a Striker centric team, though. NY.Kayoko and DPS take two slots. Then with two more slots left... I guess it's gonna be Mine with a healer?

Iroha combined with Ibuki!
I thought of it but it takes 11 cost points to get going which is a bit too high in my opinion, 6 to deploy iroha +5 to cast the AoE.@@VodkaVodoka
Well... D.Ako's value is really hard to tell... If she'd be like C.Hare in this sense, she'd be a "must", but AoE buffs are not as valuable now... We have Ibuki and Ako joining this niche, but we don't have anyone to use it effectively yet, maybe in the near future though, who knows...
Nonetheless, she seems like a nice buffer for tough torments, so definitely not a bad pick up, if anything
Makoto on the other hand, really looks like she's for yellow Gregorius, though outside of that... I don't know, well, she has a nice allies' penetration eff. passive, but that's kinda it... Might be goodge for Chesed Torment, of course, but there're a lot of alternatives already, explosive special attackers been doing it just fine, S.Miyu, Nagisa etc, even S.Hifumi with her unique item...
For P.Greg, Moe might be a somewhat goodge substitute... Casual Saya too, probably? Imagine Iori clears though... would be funny...
Either way, for P.Greg I think her situation looks really like Minori's, you can just rent her for this, plus you probably need her UE40+ for 1 team clear... So I really don't know about her being a better pick after all...
And Ibuki is just melting my heart... And also buffing Iroha, who's still good for Peroro and stuff... Must 5*+.
Yeah is complicated. There are so many things at play is hard to really evaluate this characters
Tbh, in this banner I'll just focus on Makoto if necessary, Ibuki will come for free so it's not a problem, now Ako is expensive and I don't see the need for a character that is theoretically a downgrade from the normal version, her buff can be in area, but generally the rotation focuses on 1 character, why would I want to buff my tank or my support too? Himari + Ako special continues to be much more interesting, faster and more efficient, this Ako Dress seems to be even more situational than Makoto herself
Yeah, dress Ako is a character that shines when you run many DPS but otherwise you are better off using her normal version for sure.
@@sherlockyt But the most important thing about this update was finally the 5th member of the Pandemonium society having her name revealed and a little more attention, we finally know that her name is "Chiaki", most of the photos she is together with Satsuki so I predict that they will be released together, and Chiaki is one I was most looking forward to

currently i'm using NY.Haruna,Yuuka,Tsubaki,Shun and for special S.Shiroko and Iroha
I would replace Haruna with Summer Hanako, Mika or Iori. other than that team works. You can also run Himari instead of Iroha
Overall good team, but I would replace Iroha with something more fast-paced, and while you can counter Yuuka with NY.Haruna... if she's taken down faster - you almost can't kill Yuuka with this... so basically, M.Yuzu and Mashiro are great choices instead of Iroha, if you have them invested ofc
I suppose you're global too, so when S.Hanako is out - she's also a very good choice, a "must" probably even... Also replacing one of the tanks with Mika might be a good idea, as you have both Shun and S.Shiroko - your ults come out very quickly

i'll try out Mashiro instead of Iroha and change my Tsubaki with Mika since she is very low invested in comparison to my yuuka
Thankfully i got ako with my free pulls, not pulling makoto because i also wanna save 24k for hina
Damn, I'm 160 pulls in and got none. I got Camp hare and another character I did not have but none from the event
I pick Makoto purely for her voice lines and being a 'hatred' character.
