Kushaq makes sense with 1.5 , in terms of performance. And general reliability.
And the amount asked for the base and the middle variants of 1.0 tsi is un justifiable

Yes regarding mileage i feel 1.5 can give you better mileage than 1.0 or 1.2 turbos because, 1.5 makes that power effortlessly, whereas a 1.0 turbo mileage is dependant on various factors like
1 user throttle input as the power is concentrated between 2000 to 5000 rpm only
2 load factor
3 correct gear for correct speed matters
The 1.5 ivtec of my elevate can pull 60kmph at 6th gear effortlessly and easily gives a mileage of 15 16 17
Thats why 1.5 seems better than a smaller turbo
Bro technically all r fine but the drive feel that we get in the VW or Skoda is entirely different..... We can't compare Japanese cars or other Indian cars to be honest.... But maintenance cost and mileage is the drawback as a layman point observation from my side..... Odathu parakum.... At the same time power pirinchitu pona petrol urinchitu pogum nu Gosu lines are opt for these cars.....
I have driven vw golf and Citroen c5 in middle East medhakum.... Power, refinement and suspension irrukaae yappa solla varthayae ila...... which u can't get in Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai or any other cars.....
@@Mohan-ex3vb 1 so regarding comparing Japanese to skoda ,
we have a rapid and I feel I get the same handling in my honda elevate
1 with the 220mm gc the suspension is harder than the kushaq or my rapid , the suspension is set up in a way that there minimal body roll for that gc and chassis seems heavy
2 compared to the rapid , the steering of my elevate is bit heavy at low speeds but response in on par
3 while overtaking the chassis is giving me the same vibe which a rapid or a kushaq gives me
4 so that 1.5 ivtec is complimenting the Honda chassis well
As for other Japanese cars like vitara or hyryder they handle well too but elevate is so much closer
As for the engine the 1.0 tsi is way ahead in terms of technology and performance when compared to the other Indian and Korean small turbos
@@Mohan-ex3vb yes this is price sensitive market , and kushaq even the base varient commands a near 15 lakhs, a handling a creta won't give you , one brand that's in its own league other than Suzuki or the Koreans is honda , honda has always been conservative with respect to India , actually they are a sleeping giant.

But the money that kushaq demands for the 1.0 Tsi is not justifiable
Ennoda ivtec , at 60kmph at 6th gear pulls effortlessly which the small turbos will struggle, so thats why i feel as for the 1.0 tsi i will give the total package advantage to elevate than kushaq , kushaq makes sense with 1.5 not the 1 liter but 1.5 is not affordable to all

That is right thaan but neenga andha 26 lakhs is for that engine and dsg gearbox which the xuv 700 won't give,
So technology matters sometimes, here you get that cylinder de activation tech too
@@raveendhana7084 Bro 2 years before , top end kushaq cost only under 22lacs in 2022 . Within 2 years , they have increased their prices drastically to 26lacs , which means 4 lacs increase in 2 years . No other vehicle has increased the prices this much. Even Mahindra has also increased the prices of every variant of xuv700 in this 2 years . But they have only increased about 1 to 1.5l for every variant . But skoda has increased drastically
The DQ200 gearbox has a high failure rate and replacing it will cost you a bomb.
@@saranm1235 any dual clutch gearbox is a liability thaan, but VW group have worked upon the reliability issues of that gearbox and now less issues are being reported , the same applies to dct also .
@@raveendhana7084 One quick question, if you know pls let others know. In which other products Audi or VW or Skoda using or used this same kind of DSG gear box? If we know that, we can conclude up to some extend. People are saying TQ is some how reliable than DSG, but that will eat some torque from engine and so that will be suitable for high power engines, where as that may not suitable here.
MM weight reduce pannala cost for 1k cc is tooo much. This is not old skoda. Soon skoda will get bye bye from people. It’s not common man car.
It's not only skoda , even sub 4 meter oda prices have ballooned up , eg a creta top end touches 24lakhs or even a 3xo AX5 with reverse camera cost you 14 lakhs
@@raveendhana7084 ellathukum indha tax thane Karanam..... After the ex showroom how much do we pay is really a big pain..... Even u consider two wheelers how much cost it has increased... Even though we have manufacturing units here we don't have any privileges to price..... Moreover we are depleting all the resources and making them export the car too..... Road tax we pay but all the major roads are pot holes.... They collect tax similar to US, SINGAPORE but maintenance of the road at worst..... No tax reduction for hybrid cars too..... If we buy a car manufactured in TN means the people should have some privilege in car cost since our resources are used for manufacturing.... Likewise it has to be streamlined to avoid heavy taxation....
@@Mohan-ex3vb as for tax tamil Nadu is the least taxed state compared to our neighbours, Karnataka or telengana, how do i know this ? , i know this as am in sales , eg for an i20 sportz with a tax of 80k here na bangalore la its 1.2 lakhs

1 government is too focused on evs and its asking a heavy tax for the hybrids
2 its the people too , when we had our car delivered, me, my father and my friend were having a chat about not even using a reverse camera, we are dependant on the center mirror and outside mirror, and just a reverse sensor,
And good ac is enough , if your ac is good you rarely need a ventilated seat
So in the name of features the price is very much increased,
Eg 3xo la mahindra wants you to buy only the top and upper top models ,
A basic like a drive seat height adjustor and a reverse camera comes only from AX5 and that costs you 15 lakhs
Plus you never know the life of a three pot turbo, so i do car consulting , there are things which I can't say here openly or even GS bro for that matter

But to be honest the dealer price reduction is better in Bengaluru than TN that's what I felt when I was going to the dealers across TN and karanataka..... I was confused to take jimny 6 months back during that thunder edition sale they gave me an unbelievable price for alpha AT which TN dealers told that impossible..... Finally gone 4 breeza at a better price compared to TN.....
