    Great video even 5 years later. Been scouring the internet for helpful tips on how to start of a business, the legalities etc and this is the first i've found to touch on things like where to look for a trailer/van, what to expect on the first day of sales, insurances, where to register your company, so thank you!

    What is the name of your generator please ? Looks big enough. I'm looking for a big generator to run 3 appliances with total 11.2kw . Thank you

    • @taospencer1403
      @taospencer1403 Před 5 lety +1

      you don't need that big a generator to run 3 appliances

    • @NigelSnipes
      @NigelSnipes Před 5 lety +1

      The type of generator you'd need for that would be far too industrial and therefore not easily transported.
      The way to go for the vast majority of cooking equipment is LPG and lowering your wattage requirement to a minimal which will allow to use a generator that is portable / manageable.
      Also, councils and festivals are not keen on petrol powered ones as they're more flammable, so I'd suggest speaking to them and check before purchasing.
      Oh, final thing......if you need say 3000w, then buy a generator that does 5000w or higher. The reason for this is that remember that it's an engine and you don't want it on, using it's full for the amount of hours you'd be trading.
      All the best with your venture👍👍👍

    What licenses do you need?

    • @UrgenthelpwithSubscriptionsHel
      @UrgenthelpwithSubscriptionsHel Před 6 lety +7

      first you need food hygiene level 3, after contact local authority for aprooving, pay for the food licence to council and inform them what you going to sell. they will count the cost of your licence depending on your selling products.

    Hi, I just got a van from europe ,everything is good and working but it only has one sink, so I need an extra sink for washing hands, what would be the a good and cost effective way to do this.
    Thanks

    • @UrgenthelpwithSubscriptionsHel
      @UrgenthelpwithSubscriptionsHel Před 6 lety +1

      buy a table sink from ebay with £35-50, keep the clear water tank up on the table to make the water flowing easy without any pumping. You need to have the tanker lifted on a wooden box. another tank for waste water will be placed underneath the table. do not use electricity and pumping water for hands or washing tools and any other equipment, because you spend more water than you need, so its going too speedy. high preasure its needed usually for showers, garden, restaurant and home kitcken. Use less water, save water. Hope you apreciate my ideea without any energy needed.
