I went to the first highschool band camp at Southern. Quite an experience
I am so glad I can see what's going on with the SU Marching Band, great job. It is great the high school students have the opportunity to attend a camp with such great musicians.
I also love the SU band app but why is someone always trying to compare Southern to Jackson State.
How can you compare a band who has always patterned almost everything after SU including putting SU school color (not theirs) in their uniform. Gambling also wants GSU rocks the house back. I remember the first time they played it because the middle school in my hometown played it. Guess who played it years later. I can go on but this was to congratulate SU directors for a great job.
Stop hating and start creating.
This is amazing!!Hate I missed it this year but,you will see me next year.
I'm definitely going in the summer of 2016 can't wait!!!

8:50 Ok. So they are called catch-ons and not 8-counts?
+Salsadivva the official dance term is an 8-count, but they are known as catch ons. So either lol
+Salsadivva stands, catch-ons, 8-counts, all the same lol
+Salsadivva ... The "formal" terminology would be mini dance combinations and/or dance
sequences... One would actually need to be able to "catch-on" to any
element/form of choreography whether its 8-counts, 32-counts, or a full
multi-count choreographed routine.
