You are a private detective. After receiving a letter from your father, asking for help, you go to the small town of Redcliff.
The city is completely empty. Where have all the inhabitants gone? What happened to your father?
This is what you have to find out. Explore the city, find clues, solve puzzles, open locks to advance your investigation. The game is a mixture of escape the room and classic quests.

It actually merits a bit more explanation - the coordinates on the map + the new coding system from the DVD presentation that changes coordinates to distances X/Y from A1 on the map to marked cells
16:10 I didn't understand why the 12 and 2012 ;-; That's the only part where I needed a hint but they just gave me the answer, no explanation

How on earth did you figure out the sequence for the bookcase in the study...?
I think it's kind of a trial&error mini game. You just click on the books (with yellow band) in some order until all of them do not pop out anymore. I tried pretty fast though
When you press a correct book in the sequence, it stays in. So you try each of the 6 books until you find the first book. Once you know the first book, you trying each of the remaining 5 books until you find the second book. Once you know the first two books, you trying each of the remaining 4 books until you find the third book. Keep going until you find the complete sequence. Because of the feedback you get when the books stay in, you can figure it out systematically in at most 21 guesses. That's a huge improvement over trying all 720 possible permutations!
Im mostly curious how Fairy doesn’t fit? I thought it’d be rainbow since its the only non “living” thing on the list

🙏💖 Thanks for the excellent walkthrough! Now I know how to solve the bookcase puzzle in the study: because the books stay in when you press them in the correct order, you can use that feedback to find the complete sequence in at most 21 attempts. That's a lot easier than trying all 720 possible permutations of 6 books! So this puzzle isn't brute force after all, if you use the feedback you get when you press books in the correct order.
How did you know how to open the box in the children room?? I didn't find any clue about it.

@@Felix.Felicix the blue blocks castle are created by the same shape if you divide them, and arranged in different rotation which you can recreate in the box

How did you manage to find out the type of grape and the birthday?
In the bar room thing there is types of wine his favorite one is the least amount of wine so its the yellow one (am sorry for bad english i am algerian)

1. 12 because of the two football shirts that weren't hung (farfetched imo) and someone else found it in the car trunk
2.birthday because in the "treasure" there's a word from the girl to herself about her birthday ("birthday 2 days ago" and date of 2 june so birthday on 31/5/2019) and we see in the kitchen that the cake has 7 candles so she was born on 31/5/2012
3. Fairy because everything else is in the chapter ( unicorn in swimming pool and all the others in the children's room)
