This game would greatly benefit of a vampire world of darkness mod, and maybe a stormlight archive mod as well. It would be amazing if it ever came to pass.
Bought 4 PC’s from them - the last 3 were great, this one has been a nightmare and customer service has been quite bad. I hadn’t bought from them in 4years, so I guess they’ve changed.
@@RepublicOfPlay Do you watch Linus Tech tips or Gamers Nexus ? if you don't you. you probably should they have some good content on prebuild and after sales service
The Anglo Saxon’s right flank actually drove off the Normans and overextended themselves, charging down the hill. This allowed them to be outflanked by Williams cavalry because they broke formation. There’s debate about whether or not this was an intentional feigned retreat by the Normans, but we’ll never know for sure. Harolds army was fresh off defeating the Norwegians in the north and had lost a lot of their best troops. Most troops were part of a hastily assembled militia, also called a fyrd.
NICEEEE I would love this series as the Anno one! got the game as soon as it was avalible! xD and up until now it has been good, hope you have fun as I do or more.
My experience with CyberPower was not great either. Med-Level Gaming computer didn't last more than 1 year and started having serious problems ending with the blue screen of death. Never again. Thanks for the new series of game play despite your computer issues.
@@starwaveprime7398 Just like everyone else. Lol. On the other hand, the UK is pretty much the only nation that can peg a medal on itself for ending worldwide slavery.

I really like anno and that’s how I got into your channel, not a fan of AoE , never played never will but I can’t help but watch all your videos 😅 you’re an awesome entertainer, how you tell a story and just show the game .. love it! ❤️
So basically if you saw some splashes of red than it would be fun? The game is meant for strategy and playing w friends... Go play COD or FORTNITE while we keep RTS games alive
there too many losers that keep saying mobile battle look, but its just over exaggeration that displays their stupidity. This is a great AOE game that brings back the builder strategy RTS
I just don't understand why they didn't go back to 2D. 3D just doesn't work for me in those kind of games. All the animations look so ridiculous and the weird hitbox system is doing its best at making it look even worse. They are making the same mistakes as Firefly with Stronghold.
The "documentary" style just isn't doing it for me. I want to actually hear the characters have dialog in the moment, not make it all feel past-tense. It just makes it all less... "grand" to me i guess. It doesnt feel like an epic battle, it just feels like a documentary and its just not exciting me.
i like how u said "dont buy from cyber power they fucked me a few times" and they did the same exact thing to me when i bought a 3000 dollar computer from them. it arrives and didnt even work and alot of the part stopped working in under a year.
I have an Alienware, and I used to hate working with Dell. However, that warranty and service has been surprisingly great. I'd build my own computer, but it's so hard finding parts at a decent price right now.
I hate the way the campaign is narrated, not by characters in it, but by narrator, like watching a documentary, it is interesting way to do it, but I hate it.
No, there was a rumor on the battlefield that William fell, but it was obviously incorrect. In order to rally his demoralized men, he did indeed climb to a hill to reassure them.
I think if gaming was my hobby and not my job I’d build one as I’d have the time over months to source parts and do research. Because my pc is my job, I leave it to professionals to build for me, as I can’t really afford mistakes… but here we are anyways!
Ancient Rome, specifically mid to late republic, and ancient Greece, more specifically the peloponessian war and events leading up to and after. Im vaguely knowledgeable about bronze age and roman empire, and pretty good with WW2 events.
@@TsunamiWombat You underestimate our power. Don't try it. ( O.O oh so this is how you beat the high ground...you get them to come to you then cut them off )
Almost finished the Norman campaign myself, and honestly I find it kinda... boring. First of all the "character" of the campaign is completely gone. It's presented entirely as a documentary. So I'm not really getting invested into the stories. Nobody have any dialogue or anything. It's all just the "show runner" explaining what's happening. The personal stories told from first/second-hand perspective in AoE2 are gone. Secondly, the maps are super tunnely/railroady any leaves very little up to personal freedom in how you want to approach a map. It feels more like you're playing a game on the Starcraft 2 arcade or something rather than an AoE campaign. Third, it's incredibly easy even on higher difficulties. As for the gameplay itself my two big issues are that missiles are homing and that stone walls are paper for siege rams.
In the modern era of gaming the mechanics this is aoe 2 are basically reskinned. They knew they couldnt create rome 2 so they just went with this nostalgia style. I guess it works for skirmish, just a rts in the medieval era. Does it add anything knew besides graphics?
@@magww1 Wat? No it's not lol. There are a TON of new features. I really don't like how they present the history in this game. First of all the history itself seems to be very bare-bones. Then there's the cold, uninspiring narration and the boring real-life imagery. It's like going on a school trip to a really boring museum and this is coming from somebody who's loved/studied history his whole life and is quite partial to a boring museum. As always though, your gameplay and narration is great!

No blood, mobile battle animation, and overtly simplified enunciation-- Yes, fit for a twelve-year old that missed out on first day history class.
