    Thanks for the vid. Questions for you:
    Are the Wing's faders touch sensitive?
    Can you write automation smoothly to your DAW using the faders in latch, touch, etc?
    Can you control sends and plugin parameters with plugins like Waves from the console in DAW mode?
    Can Magix Samplitude be controlled with the Wing in Daw mode?
    Can the scribble strips show the track colors to match the track colors in your DAW session?
    Thanks in advance!

      Sorry for the late reply, I haven't seen your comment yet.
      Here you are:
      Are the Wing's faders touch sensitive?
      Unfortunately no.
      Can you write automation smoothly to your DAW using the faders in latch, touch, etc?
      Yes, its possible
      Can you control sends and plugin parameters with plugins like Waves from the console in DAW mode?
      If you define the MIDI channel and notes, this should be possible.
      Can Magix Samplitude be controlled with the Wing in Daw mode?
      You can control any DAW that can generally be controlled with Midi.
      Can the scribble strips show the track colors to match the track colors in your DAW session? No, not with this FW.
      THX for comment, have fun.

    Hi I would be about to buy it, but having no idea of its operating mode with cubase 11, I would like to have more explanations to understand if it would be useful to improve my way of working
    Hope you can help me
    1) When Wing is in a mix session connected to the DAW is it possible to use the touchscreen, color the tracks, or are the touch functions only active in Live applications or in the studio?
    2) Is the Wing Live card already included or must it be purchased separately?
    3) By connecting it via usb to my computer, can I use its internal sound card to record a keyboard, a voice or a guitar without delay?
    4) If I open an 80 track project in cubase 11 and I want to mix with Wing using either my plugins or yours, can I do it or do I need other expansions?
    5) Is the coloring of the tracks also visible in the Wing?
    5) It is compatible with Windows 10 latest vers.
    6) Latency times in recording and playback?
    Thank you so much!

      1) When Wing is in a mix session connected to the DAW is it possible to use the touchscreen, color the tracks, or are the touch functions only active in Live applications or in the studio?
      --> No, it isn't. You can only use the fader bays and the media knobs in DAW mode.
      2) Is the Wing Live card already included or must it be purchased separately?
      --> The WING Live card is included.
      3) By connecting it via usb to my computer, can I use its internal sound card to record a keyboard, a voice or a guitar without delay?
      --> Yes you can. USB Delay is about 3ms IN and OUT
      4) If I open an 80 track project in cubase 11 and I want to mix with Wing using either my plugins or yours, can I do it or do I need other expansions?
      --> You can use every plugin in cubase. If you want use the WING plugins, you have to send your channels via the USB 32x32 interface to the wing channels.
      5) Is the coloring of the tracks also visible in the Wing?
      --> Currently not yet. Maybe in a later FW version.
      5) It is compatible with Windows 10 latest vers.
      --> Yes it is.
      6) Latency times in recording and playback? --> In & Out each ca. 3-4ms

    Kann man die eingebauten Effekte auch bei Nutzung als DAW Controller nutzen ? Der Umfang der Effekte wäre für mich ein Kaufargument, vor allem da ich Rechenpower spare. UAD + Controller wären für mich auch eine Option, aber da kommt man eher nicht günstiger davon und hat eine Kombilösung. So hätte ich ein nettes All in One Gerät. Danke

    • @btsipsheim
      @btsipsheim  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi. Also es wäre denkbar, über die 32x32 USB Schnittstelle die effekte im Pult zu nützen. Also man könnte aus der DAW einen Insert rausschicken, durch den FX und dann wieder zurück. Das geht parallel zum Controller. Grüße

      @@btsipsheim klasse! Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie das Zusammenspiel mit der kommenden Behringer / Musictribe DAW aussehen wird. Oder ob die Effekte gleich in der DAW mit an Bord sein werden. Leider gab es seit ca. März(?) keine Updates mehr zur DAW.

    Hello
    I love cubase since I bought my first version the SX, today I have 11, but in all these years I don't understand how it can be possible that Steinberg has not yet implemented the function of displaying the db of the faders in the controllers
    I mean, I've used different controls over the years, and every time I needed to view the fader position on the screen
    After many years I bought an Icon desk the Qcon Pro, also in this case I never had this function
    Today I am about to buy my first console mix, the Behringer Wing, so I ask you if you, who already have this console and who like me use cubase, can view this parameter from the wing channel displays in DAW mode, for me it is very important to know because it is more convenient for me to view the values in db on the controller display which is close when I move the fader than to look at it on the lcd monitor which is a meter away from me
    Over the years I have done research, discovering that cubase is the only one that does not have this function
    but is it also for the Behringer Wing?

    • @btsipsheim
      @btsipsheim  Před 3 lety

      Hi, I have tested it for you. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the levels, only with panorama and the other functions. Sorry.

      @@btsipsheim Absurd that such a simple function is not yet integrated! But does Wing still display them in any way? Meanwhile !
