    I love how there are so many ways in photoshop to get the same results.
    I edited a snapshoot from a cosplayer walking towards me. After changing background, adding particles and finally glow from the explosion in the new background, the final image is
    stunning, I'm so proud of myself :)
    Good job on this one, I just want to be in that car enjoy that sunset.

    Hey Moe, another great collaboration! It's nice to see that the automotive community is so eager to share the knowledge and show how it's done, great to see that :)
    My biggest issue with car photography is overdoing it when it comes to retouch and post production, maybe it may serve as a subject for one of yout tutorials? just an idea, feel free to use it.
    I'd love to see feedback for other car photographers on another of your Q&A series, for example sharing my photos with you so you can tell me what you think.
    Keep it up man, love to see new stuff from you!

    two months ago, i was watching these videos and did not understand a damn thing. Fast forward to the present, i was able to understand all the tools/steps except for the gradient blur (which i knew what it is but never knew how to apply it). These videos are prime for learning man. Keep them up!

    This, honestly, makes me a little sad. This is no longer photography, you might as well just have done a render from a 3D model. The outcome is beautiful, no doubt about that, but it is no longer a photo.

    • @dash3dot
      @dash3dot Před 5 lety +15

      Sorry sir but you are obviously lost and confused here. This is an image, a modified photograph that is suppose to present the main subject in the most flattering way. It's a product photography that is suppose to look attractive to the eye and it's doing that job very well. This is NOT a documentary photograph and nobody cares about that stuff in a product/car photography. The original (the real, honest and true in your understanding) photo looks blant and okay-ish at best, the edited one looks like from a car magazine or a poster/billboard, it's just delicious.

    • @blackbonexxx
      @blackbonexxx Před 5 lety +7

      if its beautiful what is the problem with it? I think a picture is only complete after de edits. Would you say that a painting that was painted with something other than a brush was no longer a painting? In the art world people cheat a lot to get the result they want and that's where the creativity emerges with the limits of technology(most of the times budget) or real world conditions. And I think that's what makes it beautiful! Have a nice day! :D

    The way Damien "showed" us the lightroom process was not natural, he made some STUNNING mistakes like total burn down the lights and miss the lents focus details of the subject.. Color to everyone preference not gonna bother here BUT.. the light and shadows later in PS.. what a disaster.
