I feel like ATX just doesn't "need" as much innovation because they pretty much work, whereas ITX cases can be tough to build in.
Great review. I am seriously considering this case and it is nice to see someone with some knowledge and common sense do a build in one. Also thank you for using the Phanteks Glacier, current gen motherboards are so bad at AIO compatibility and it is nice to see what actually works.

The only itx lga1700 motherboard I can think of that has good cooler compatibility are asus b660i msi unify z690i and aorus b660 (only 1 m2). Asrock ones too and a couple board in Asia that is not available elsewhere

This is the last piece to a build I've been waiting for over a year to complete, as my 3080 Strix just arrived. Ordered one, hopefully it arrives soon!
Love these cases. My last NR200P was first SSF I've done and was super easy. This seems even better designed. An RGB strip along top side and down side will give a nice glow out of the holes. Subtle and smooth. Can't wait to build in this.
i am unbelievably excited for this thing, ive been in love with my dan a4 for years and i have been dying for something that combined the looks of the dan with the radiator space of the sidearm t1/ghost s1.

I love the simplicity, but the blandness looks a bit to Apple for me. It'd be amazing to see a glass panel on this, put some RGB element in there and WOW the whole room looks good.
Your videos are always the best IMO compared to other peps. I like yours because you provide information and I still get to see the building process and admire the work committed to building this. I'm really stuck on which case to get at this point. I have SO much research my head is going to explode. The only reason why I want to avoid this case just SLIGHTLY is I wanted to avoid PCIE riser completely. Just haven't decided yet. Once again, awesome video. Currently thinking about a SUGO16 odd choice but as long as any case fits in the backpack. I can game at my part time job. Thus why I gotta have a SFF case to fit in a backpack. :)

Hey just a tip. I had the same issue building in some cases with cheaper riser cables. They've never failed me, yet the quality on the ROG Strix riser cable is worth it. Very heavy duty and super flexible. Been running a 3090 on one for a year now.
This is a wonderful looking case. I wonder if they will consider making one just a little bit taller to fit a mATX motherboard. Having a Vive VR headset with the wireless adapter I need 2 PCIe slots, 1 fo the wireless adapter and another for the GPU.
2 questions: First, do you think the modest size advantage of the H20 is worth losing out on the supposed greater ease of building of the NR200? And secondly, since this video is 2 years old, can you maybe recommend an even better mini-itx case in that is really small, but still good overall?
Solid case! Gimme a snow edition and id be more than happy to buy it! A touch of RGB wouldnt hurt, ya know, like a thin line to outline the front I/O or something. Overall, a damn fine case!

This case seems like an upside down lian li q58 with even worse cable management. Man your case reviews are spot on! I got my lian li q58 after watching your review. Speaking of which I shoved in my MSI 3080 Gaming Z trio in there with an ungodly amount of force aftwe watching your review. (the right most fan wouldn't spin because the shroud bends against the power button casing and hits the fan, which I fixed after removing the foam padding ) Now I'm scared to remove it again lol.
I have one tiny problem with this case. Not the thermal or component fitment, but the side panel design. Instead of CNC-ing holes, why didnt they use perforated panel instead? Those cnc holes in my opinion *looks* cheap 😔
Still very happy with my Meshlicious, otherwise I would definitely have bought this case! And of course... I would change the fans that come with any AIO to Noctua fans.
Might have to change from my slinger sm560 for the aio the sliger is also 11l and these size sff cases are easy to build in until you get to the 12 pin cable as there just to long and I had to get a custom 12pin. However I spent sooooo much on my sliger sm560 in Australia and its red I can't seem to give it up that easily. I wish there where more colours like the nr200 but red
Someone should make a shock absorbing case for it or just a neoprene sleeve. I would buy this over a laptop If I have a easy method of putting it in my backpack.
BitWit used an FE in his review of this case and it performed surprisingly well. Like @Gear Seekers mentioned it will include standoffs for the riser cable that will give the GPU space to breath.
It's so expensive you can a case for 50 $ why 120 $ + shipping will cost extra 80 $ and dont forget the sfx power supply for 70 $ and micro motherboard those parts will cost you a gold mine
@@papi6518 yeah, and it's also niche, I understand why it's more expensive, but especially in my country an itx board costs literally double of an atx counterpart, sfx psus can cost up to three times and the cases aren't cheap either. It's too much to justify it.

I have roughly the same gear... i7 - but a evga 12 gig 3080, my idles are lower.. using the EKWB AIO basic, with two Noctua Cromax fans. I am at 38c idly, the gpu is at 49c idle with the room being around 73F With a slight overclock even. Go figure

I bought the case that came with the 3.0 version by mistake and had to buy a 4.0 riser separately recently. I bought the LinkUp Ultra PCIE 4.0 Dual Reverse Socket Riser Cable 20cm. Works perfectly. As long as your riser cable is duel reverse and 20cm, you’ll be fin. One note though, the screw holes for the female side of the linkup riser cable do not line up with the stand-up’s pre-installed on the case, but there are holes drilled on the case that you can move the stand ups to that will fit this riser cable.

and i had trouble with the q58 :D i'd have demolished an a4-h20 trying to fit all stuff in it.
I didn’t take note about the pump dimensions and the pump i used have the height of 58mm and it fits but its touching against the side panel.

There are additional standoffs they are making to create space behind the GPU. I forgot to mention that in the video.

The ITX tax makes you pay more for less features, I love the looks but I don't think it's worth it. At least Nick is here giving us these looks lol.
It’s all about the design and engineering as well. Anything you make tinier and function the same will always cost a bit more.

What are other competitors are out there? I know of Sliger and the Formd T1, as well as the Ghost S1
They did a really good job making the stuff fit in a case that size, but for me the looks dont do it for me.
If you are to compare this dan a4h20 and iqunix zx-1, price difference aside of course, which one of these two is better..??
shame its 1mm too short to fit the MSI Gaming X Trio cards many of us already have and cant easily swap
