The weirdest one I ever saw was I think Chris Gayle. He tried to just block the ball but he didn't ground his bat. Somehow the ball hit a soft spot or rut, didn't kick up as high as it should have, went under his bat, and into the wickets. Ended up with a duck on two balls.
You see those 2 batsmen hit by the ball on the helmet could have died but they were lucky or whatever it is but they are alive but every time luck is not with everyone more then 12 player's died in international cricket due to Unluckyness 😞

The ball glanced off the bottom edge of the bat, brushed my inner thigh as it went between my legs, and then I heard the tinkle of the bails behind me. Or the time my glasses flew off and fell against the stumps but didn't dislodge the bails. They WERE dislodged when I went to pick my glasses up before starting a run.
#8 would be interesting to know if ball did not hit wickets, would that be given out obstructing the field ? My guess: it would be out. She intentionally dragged ball behind to prevent keeper from collecting it.
The helmet shots seem unfair to count as wickets. Those were dangerous deliveries (and, by definition, no balls) that the batsmen shouldn't be penalized for being hit by at unlucky angles.

Missing the famous "periscope" bat catch when Dougy Walters ducked to avoid a bouncer but left the bat in the air. Ball hit bat and deviated to a waiting filder. It's grossly misleading to state these are wierdest in history when only the last 3-4 decades are shown....international test cricket goes back another century.

It's a bit hard to tell when they drop their body so far where their waist was. It had already dropped to bail height and I don't think the batsman was in much doubt he was out.

Shouldn't have been. If the ball is stuck in the top of the batters pads it is dead.
Are you sure? Against WI Cullinan once tried to cut, got the bottom edge, ball went straight down, he caught it as it was bouncing.

Look at his waist at the start, multiple inches above the bails. Look at the height of the ball when he hit it. Probably just above the bails.
