I disagree with you. Wike simply completed ongoing projects. Let him extend governance to the Area Councils and not limit it to City Centre. There are more pressing needs than motor terminals. That does not give him the audacity to use derogatory languages on people. FCT have sane voters and the masses will resist him come 2027.
I can bet that you don’t live in Abuja or never been to Abuja before. Abuja is the only well-planned city in Nigeria and the project Wike is doing are projects that were abandoned, not like they weren’t existing before. What the minister is trying to do is call Wike’s attention to other area of the FCT. They are many areas that Wike hasn’t touched but concentrating on only the city centers. The minister never use any derogatory words at him. Wike is doing exactly what he did in Rivers, constructing unnecessary flyovers around the city when there’s no job, insecurity and all that in his state. Just road construction is not a measurement of development, while it’s good but they are other areas in FCT to develop and that’s what the minister has been trying to draw his attention to but he feels he’s above everyone and even threatening the minister that she won’t come back as a senator.
