This was exactly what I needed. I’m so scared to start and worried about being overwhelmed with all the milk but this gave me so much confidence and put me at ease. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and share!

Im glad that you where inspired!! learning to use all the milk was definitely my biggest learning curve as well and i remember feeling like a failure every time I dumped milk away!! Getting the pigs helped a lot because now when we have a busy week and i don't have time to take care of all the milk it just helps with our pig feed bill that week!!

Wow! That was the most thorough video I'd seen of all the benefits and fruit of milk. I love how you used everything. I'm dreaming of dairy cow, probably a mini jersey. Loving your chanel!

I don't have enough space for a cow right now, but hopefully in the future I can get one! Going to save this video so I can look back on this when I do have a cow and want to make mozzarella! This video was so cool!

Ok…. I have questions! Lol. We have a dexter. She’ll be 13yrs old in May. She has nice teats and her udder has held up ok. We got her from a beef herd and she hadn’t been milked for at least 6yrs. She’s tall and I’ve been told looks “dairy.” We get 1.5gal with the calf separated over night at 6wks. The milk comes out in very thin streams. Nothing like yours. It takes forever to milk her. We get so little milk by 7-8mos that there no point in milking, and if we separate the calf permanently, she dries up completely. Is there anything we can do about all this? Reading in the dexter group, I know she gives more milk than most. We get excellent cream lines as well.

I just love the fact that you are God centred, there are lots of other homestead videos and they do lots of things you do, but 2:14 it never registers that God gave the increase, and he’s in charge, they do not connect life from the land to the life he has given us. I also love your daughters Hebrew name Hadassah , from Queen Esther. I typed this for the previous video I had watched but it finished and went on to the next one, sorry about that.

It’s cleaner than you think straight from the teat.

My kids eat dirt, hair, feathers, probably blood if the chickens flail about when they butcher, all kinds of poop 🤷‍♀️and every kind of microbiology you can imagine. They’re almost never sick and we don’t vaccinate. Society has become far too sterile and THATS a problem.
