Nice to see you using a Quality Australian brand, Nolathane is a polyurethane bush and won't let you down mate.

A big C clamp would work really well for pressing in the bushings.

I tightened my steering rack mount bolts after watching this video and the sound went away. Also make sure your sway bar links are tightened as well. Good luck!

The technicians at the dealership and any of the local mechanics don't have a fraction of your knowledge, experience, or workmanship! I seriously wish you were close enough for me to use your services.

Note that this procedure will not work on a 5.7L 2wd. There is not enough room between the bolt head and oil pan for a socket and ratchet on the passenger side. Could use 24 mm box end wrench and pound on it, the old double wrench trick, or just use large impact socket on the large nut bushing in the front, or pipe wrench, lg crescent, going to replace that bushing liner so it doesn’t matter if it gets torn up. Or could drop the oil pan LOL.

I believe I've done one before , and I've taken the motor mount bolts out and raised the motor to get to the bolts. I'm not 100% on that, but it's ringing a bell. Thanks for the input !! Keep Wrenching!!

Kenny wear latex gloves please. It's been proven grease, oil etc can reach into your blood streams.

Well, that doesn’t begin to happen until 15 mins after anything made contact with your skin. I’d rather wear gloves over washing every 15 minutes though, it dries out my hands.

I have an Aspen that needs the same, but there are NO Aspen specific parts numbers (2007 model, during the Mercedes ownership: they took all their proprietary info when they sold Chrysler to Fiat). Mine looks exactly like yours, but a millimeter makes a difference. If you or any of your fans know if they ARE the same, please reply to this!

This bolts are tightened at 232 ft lb. My torque wrench reaches 150ft lb. I was only able to torquebat least 😂 100 ft lb. More than that was pushing myself out.
About the sweavel socket gonna get one.
I noticed does move the one i couldn't torque.
I 🤔 wonder if the outsider diameter has a specific tool like a bigger socket.

I could care less what the watchers think but I never use a torque wrench. In mechanic school the instructors taught us to use the torque wrench but said you'll starve to death if you use it on the job. Only time I ever used a torque wrench was on an automatic transmission.

😂"I'm 300 lbs. I put a lot of weight into that." But you're standing on the ground. Not that I blame you those bolts are tough to torque down especially the one on the oil pan side.
