    • @OriginalLictre
      @OriginalLictre Před 3 lety +11

      The Simon and Garfunkel original is a man having a revelation, and trying to share it. The Disturbed cover is a wearier, more cynical, more practiced presentation of that same revelation, pointing out the mounting evidence that the revelation was true, and ignored.

    David is a trained cantor. Classically trained. Never uses auto tune. He always says why do something on an album if you know it can’t be done in concert it wouldn’t be fair to the Audience. And on this night. He was actually sick with the flu! And he still sounded amazing.

    He's one of the most incredible vocalists in all of metal. Along with Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage. Both grew up learning operatic vocals.
    I highly recommend the cover of close my eyes forever by Ozzy and Lita ford.
    David does it with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.
