Didn't expect them to drop a new pack until April, but seeing Arias, the new Unchained support, and Bonfire right before the US Challenger Cups this weekend is going to give a huge advantage to those who are TCG players over Master Duel only players. I'm willing to bet the Master Duel only players will continue to play Snake Eye with Bonfire added while TCG players will end up using either Labrynth or Unchained with Droll added in as a way to deter those players. Very interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing the results coming out of those.
I feel like the power level in the game just went soooo crazy in the game in the last few months, even superheavy samurai feels kinda fair in comparison to the rest of the cast

They hit all the spots with this pack. 9k gems got everything I was ok getting but not rushing (volcanic with a royal bonfire/emperor +armored, runick, boxers) but only 1 Yama (one of my favorite cards of all time) and 2 Arias. Thinking for the very first time to buy gems.

In the lore, the knight is a girl and she has a mission to go through all the traps in the silver castle to confront the princess, who finds great amusement in being pursued and telling her servants to ambush the knight. So yeah, the knight is part of the lore and she will hopefully become a card too! :)

She tries to "solve" the labyrinth by finding the hidden curse/treasure at the center while Lovely tries to prevent that from happening. That's why in S/T we have her point of view. Finally this is based on the Minoan Labyrinth hence the axes. So they could still print the following: - Lvl5 monster - Lvl6 counterpart to Arias - the lamps - the knight - a minotaur - the curse/treasure
The game has gotten way too expensive. It may be fine just to play a meta deck, but there isn’t any breathing room for experimentation, if every new playable card suddenly is a UR. When master duel launched, most archetypes had maybe one or two URs. Currently, snake eyes has 10 URs for engine and Bonfire is a UR as well. As someone who was willing to even spend a little bit of money on the game. -It feels like it is my time to step away from it. I don‘t want to grind for gems, there is more important stuff in my life. I feel as if Konami definitely betrayed their original idea of Master Duel, by completely making all other rarities useless. Chance is high, „if it ain’t a UR, it is probably bad.“
Konami needs financial support to help them recover from all of their poor decisions lately, which is why they released the pack early and goosed the pull rates to encourage you to need to spend money on gem bundles, do your part to help them out!
So happy Bonfire came out to put Snake eyes at full power just after they hit my Dogmatika deck to 2 Nadir. I needed a reason to take a break from Master Duel...
Infernal banshee was actually used in pure snake eye by playing parallel exeed, at worst its less handtraps and at best its extra cards to not lose to imperm on the ash. But exeed is at 2 on MD so maybe it wont be good.
For me personally since getting all the snake eye stuff, I think it'd be better to just hold onto my gems since only bonfire will add to my current decks, and I'd have to pull much more for unchained, even if im kinda interested in trying it. Tbh I'm waiting for Race support, it kinda sucks that we still don't have preventer or emergency, and it's a shame we're getting all this before those drop.
I agree with unchained being a big contender. We didn't have both decks at full power in the TCG. Unchained makes Princess useless, it doesn't care about Lab or R-ACE whenever it becomes full power. People didn't play it in the OCG, but Unchained was overlooked in the TCG for a bit.

I don't think this is worth to pull from. Unless you want to play unchained, lab and snake-eye the chances that you are going to pull the cards that you want are way to low. I'm just going to craft the unchained cards, pulling for 6 URs (a one-off, a two-off and a three-off) seems really bad to me.
Pulling just one UR after a guaranteed UR pull is a scam. It should at least guarantee an UR in the next pull again as you actually pulled 0 UR without counting the guaranteed UR

I've been waiting to play unchained labrynth in master duel for a long time I'm happy I will now get the chance looks like a fun deck though I assume there would be a few floodgates because it's a trap deck so just have to come up with a replacement for them first
Unchained Good in TCG because at that time, most people only care about Kash or Purrely. They are only ready or learning about that Xyz matchup. So, when they face Unchained, either they don't understand how to play against it or their cards are less effective. After that, too bad TCG "kill" Unchained before the FIRE nation attacks.
Nah, unchined was seeing experimental in ocg and kinda failed, only achieving rogue tier at best. Why? Because you can't make decent board under c with only 1-2 ss. And 1 pop is usually not enough to stop snake eye.

nah, no way unchained can compete with snake eyes sadly, it is a good deck, but it has too many bricks comparatevely and only 1 card combo (tour guide), snake eyes is just too good, especially with bonfire
Unchained can easily go toe to toe with Snakes because Caesar/Rage are huge interruptions taking 2 bodies away from them, while Unchained is extremely resistant to handtraps Snakes are fragile. The one and only issue is with Maxx C you can give 2 draws to the opponent and make at least an IP with Snakes, while with Unchained you need to give 3 draws for an Escape + Rage and god forbid you start with Tour Guide.
@@babrad except going second is a thing and the number of non engine snake eyes can fit is disgusting, trust me, I want unchained to be good, I love the deck and I can brag that I topped a YCS with it, it's not good enough even without Maxx c in consideration

So I think Shifter version might be the play.
