- Grammy Award winning vocalist Cecile McLorin Salvant joins the Wynton Marsalis Quintet to explore new arrangements of both original compositions and jazz favorites. Still only in her 20s, the Miami-born Salvant, who spent several years in France at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory, has become a frequent collaborator with Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Their Jazz in Marciac program will be sung (and swung!) in both English and French and will feature songs made famous by such greats as Josephine Baker and Damia.

There are moments here when one can't help but recall Louis and Sydney...two who helped start this wonderful mess one hundred
plus years ago.....what an Amazing Gift to all of us. Merci Beaucoup indeed !!!
He has changed my life...
Just a bunch of outstanding musicians... Thanks for a wonderful and memorable performance.
Great master W. Marsalis

thank you for uploading this, beautiful music - do any of you wonderful people know the name of the song playing at 21:42?
is there any beautiful and kind person, who would translate Wynton speach into English ?
that would be an exceptional resume of this amazing music...
Thanks.
Can anyone translate the speech at 42:00 ? Would be extremely grateful!
Curious what Cecile said from 42 minute that made Wynton so emotional afterwards.
She said a speech that Wynton wrote about what France and Marciac represent to him.
Kevin Chan: Why not credit all the musicians in your intro?
Hi good day"?" acá mirando " the Charly"!?

how did you get this ?
I like to get all the other Marciac's live records
I follow their Facebook pages (JLCO and Wynton's) as they usually livestream it there. I then use a Google Chrome extension to download the video once the stream is over
Then there's no way to get all marciac's live :'(
¿AnyOne can put the list of the songs? I would love to know the titles.

Winton Marsalis.
No sound...
