Ah Sahm fighting these 2 was heartbreaking for me and I could see it too in Young Jun's eyes. After what they've been through together, he still chose his ruthless sister over the boys who genuinely cared about him
It hurt him just as much because he actually thought he could live with the thought of his sister being taken out, but he's STILL her big brother

That shows bros don’t always last cause they were trying to kill him while he was holding back the whole time. People forget Ah Sahm did a lot for the tong this season. He moved the printer before the police found it while everyone was upstairs getting drunk, he got Young Jun and Father Jun out of prison, and he finally had the tongs working together for a little minute but because of everyone’s beef and power hunger, shit hit the fan and his girlfriend got caught in the middle of it. And he had all the opportunity to kill each of them in that house but he let them live

Facts it’s sad that Young Jun couldn’t see past any of that

Love this show. You know you love a show when just the episode ends and you are sad. CANNOT WAIT for a Season Four.
I gotta hand it to writers for subverting expectations so well. Throughout the season, they kept making it seem like they will fight over Yan Mi. At the same time, they subtly showed Ah Sahm and Mai Ling's relationship getting better and her losing her influence, but they didn't put as much emphasis on Young Jun going against her. Suddenly, when it turns out that they were going after Mai Ling, it made way more sense and basically three seasons of build up paid off.
They did something similar with Irish riot in season 2 and they nailed that kind of storytelling again.
They really fucked me up canceling this show. It was too good

A side detail I loved: Hong going from his usual happy-go-lucky demeanor into stone cold killer. Against a former brother, no less. It just shows that he really is devoted to the tong and can put his personal feelings aside. Very well done by the actor.

This scene was so bad ass but devastating as well to see Ah Sahm fight the Hop Wei. So much being told without so many words like how Ah Sahm throwing down his nunchucks as a sign as I don't need a weapon to defeat the both of u . ( it did show u how Ah Sahm knew they were inferior compared to him )

My heart broke watching this because they are really brothers and to see it come to this and to see ah Sahm was holding back because he didn’t want to hurt them was even more heartbreaking

I'm gonna throw a fit if Warrior doesn't go down as one of the greatest series of all time. Seeing these brothers fight so viciously after all they've been through was just heartbreaking. The action, the visuals, the story, it's all top notch. Damn I want them to continue for another 3 seasons but I feel like Season 4 is going to be the finale.

I think, if we're lucky, we'll get at least 5. There's a ton of stuff still unresolved plus more new plot points introduced by the end of 3. Fingers crossed cuz it's such a good show that deserves a full completed vision.

The most difficult fight scene to watch. Emotional rollercoaster.
Lets hope they can keep the series alive now that it was canceled again. This series was really good, props to the cast.
What's crazy is that Ah Sahm jus woke up from a concussion and beat up half the gang. But even with all that, Young Jun and Hong couldn't even take him down together. Ah Sahm's on a whole different level along with Li Yong.
I like Hong but I couldn't stop laughing when he screamed while getting thrown onto the table. Ah Sahm pulled a one inch punch on him later and he be stumbling hilariously across the room. Bro shouldve given up after that. Lol 😂

Ah, sahm is just being the older brother protecting his little sister, and yung jun is just doing what he thinks is right for his gangs.

A fight between brothers. Disturbed me this scene
This was so hype and so tragic! They’re brothers and I really didn’t want to see it come to this. That said; Hong is a problem! With a few more years he could be his own boss. The 1 inch punch went crazy lol. Young Jun is a really sick with the blades and he knows how to time attacks with teammates, if he gets his hand to hand skills up he’s gonna be a problem. This show is wild because we’ve seen the 1 inch punch from Ah Sahm, the exploding heart technique from Li Yong, and I imagine Zing is gonna have some broken technique before it’s over.

This was a great fight. AhSahm going for nonlethal blows, Hong flipping to being serious, Young Jun being outmatched but duty bound to fight.
Ah Sahams mission was to always save his sister no matter what. People have to realize his character portraits Bruce Lee the more hero type than gangster. Doesnt mean he still doesnt care for his brothers. Noticed how he knocked them all out not one dead. And instead if slitting his friends throat he spared him. Hop Wei will come after Ah Saham and Mai Ling. I think this will spark the brother sister bond again. Li Yong will lead his own way with the right principles. I want to see how ling will fit into all of this. And I didn't want chao to die. But without forging weapons to fuel the gangs, it's probably a good thing

I predict Li Yong Will die protecting her against Kang Will make an allegiance with the Hop Wei and betray the Hop Wei. Remember Young Jun just lost his best muscle and Kang was able to put up a good fight against Li Young. But Young has always been impulsive with his mistakes and I think that ling will kill him, pin it on the Long Zee and become the Hop Wei leader.

Ah Sahm has saviour complex, he goes from one fight to another without thinking what's next. Mai Ling knew she could count on it and sow the seeds of doubt in Young Jun by pointing out his crush on the printer lady. She helped him free Father and Young Jun just to speed up the Ah Sahm Vs Young Jun fight really.
that's a big stretch she married li yong for that reason alone, AND she actually survived without help. she actually chose to stick with li yong after he beat ah sahm thinking he's the strongest so she felt like she can do on her own. but ah sahm as always is the one wathcing her back just like the first season, the only who she didn't plan on manipulating was her only savior

She is the smartest politician on the show.I don't fault her for it, but she is a scorpion, and she was just that to her brother when she saw how impulsive he still was trying to save her by fighting yet again with a genuine ally of hers Il Young . She knows he lives with the guilt of starting a fight in China, which ended with her having to be a slave wife in exchange for Ah Sahm head. She knows his trauma and banks on it and not out of hate but for survival. Till Ah Sahm vs. 'll Young he owed his life to her. Don't get me wrong, these siblings doubt each other every step of the way. She wants to isolate Ah Sahm, so she is his only option as Il Young was not gonna stand back and see her destroy the tong. I feel for Ah Sahm trying to get over being the brother who destroyed his sister's life despite his fighting skills. He tried to overcomepensate for that by gravitating towards women who are always in a predicament and think of ways to save them. Too bad Chen is not friends with Mai ling and Il Young is not friends Ah Sahm they could from each other.

Goes to show just how Awful Mai ling. Despite everything she had done, even tried to kill her own brother, ah sahm still chooses to save her even though he cares a lot about his brothers.
She is the one who started all of this and constantly kept making the absolute dumbest choices for her own goals and pushes away her husband.
If she still chooses to turn of her brother after this then she truly is the worst character on the show.

Ah Sahm should've been the leader considering he is strong enough to solo the entire Hop Wei, not only that but he is more competent and smarter than young Jun who was rash, arrogant and only got the Hop Wei in more trouble

Err, how has Mai's every decision been wrong?
She consolidated the Tongs under her power, minus the Hop, she was investing in the community before the riot and for a time, managed to hold Buckley in check.
She's overreached, sure, but at the same time, at least she's trying. For a woman in her position, she's accomplished miracles.

3. She wasn’t more grateful for Ah Sahm saving her from Bolo
4. She joined forces with the Fung Hai even knowing about there dirty tactics
5. She sold out Jacob which led to the Irish destroying Chinatown.
6. She purposely drove a wedge between Ah Sahm and Young Jun by saying they are related.
7. She gave away money to Eliza who then had her arrested for coming on to her husband
8. She outed Ah Sahms relationship with Yan Mi to Young Jun to further drive a wedge between them.
9. She practically destroyed the cash making business with the Hop Wei
10. She had the elders killed and forced her lover to kill his master causing Li Yong and the others to leave.
I’m sorry but everything that happened to her at the end she brought it upon herself. It’s not her fault at all she had a very cruel childhood and was treated like trash by an evil warlord and my guess is she was taking her frustration out on the Tongs.
If it wasn’t for Ah Sahm The Hop Wei would have eventually killed her.

1) The Tongs may have been as peace, but as Young Jun pointed out, peace never lasts. He was willing to kill Mai Ling, after she saved his life and his operation, and by extension, his Tong.
2) Yes, she ordered Ah Sahm's death, but only after she begged him not to fight. He was responsible for being forced to marry a warlord, and now he was fighting against her for the sake of his own ego.
3) How grateful was she supposed to be? Her brother went back to the people who just tried to kill her, after all. But she never revealed that he saved her life, which did save him a great deal of trouble.
4) They're criminals. Not all bets play out, but her Tong still eliminated them later as a threat.
5) She and Cho were in a tough spot, and made a pragmatic decision. If Jacob was never found, the cops would have torn apart China town. She had no way to predict the Irish riot.
6) It's not her job to protect Ah Sahm's secrets. The Hop kicked him out. Ah Sahm could have done anything, but he rejoined the Hop.
7) She didn't give the money away, she was attempting to invest it. She simply overplayed her hand. Unlike the Hop, Mai Ling was willing to invest in the community, and at least tried to blunt the effect of the racist establishment.
8) See No.6.
9) How, exactly? Young Jun threw the fake cash around like confetti, drawing law enforcement attention. It was her Tong that saved both him and the plates, and Young Jun's threat to the printer that inspired Ah Sahm to defect.
Frankly, Mai Ling was a little too passive in the counterfeiting scheme, but then she did have other concerns.

I don't understand the drive of Ah Sahm to bring Xiaojing (Mai Ling) back to China. She was used and mistreated in the worst way when she was there. She explained it to Ah Sahm , he understood and agreed with her! What did Ah Sahm owe to his Chinese family? Then again. it just may be my Western perspective.
The warlord that abused her is no longer there, she still wants a new life in America

Ah Sahm went to the streets afterwards to work with the ppl for scraps. He was allowed back in the Tong at the end of the season & then had his loyalty questioned again at the end of S2. This break up was bound to happen. Also.......regardless of what she did, would you really allow your own sister to die?
I love how fucked up people get in this show. This and Mai Lee Ah Toy's fight against the assassins are realistic. Ive said before that the coolest thing an action hero can do is get the shit kicked out of them

I think it’s more than that. His relationship with Young Jun hasn’t been steady from the start of the season and I think after everything their values didn’t line up anymore. Also Ah Sahm has an ego, it’d be out of character for him to just stand by while they killed the person he literally left China to go find.
@Ynnufsders it's not at all an ego, he even said it himself multiple times to young Jun he could've took over the tong, let him die across the salt, he could've easily fought leary before he spoke to him, he could've done so many things and when words weren't enough the man then FINALLY resorts to fighting .... ah sahm actually has the exact opposite of an ego the man has plenty of restraint but he also has values, codes, honor and loyalty he just starts learning what real loyalty is and for some of us those rules apply differently.... I think it's impossible to discern when it's appropriate to say when our codes apply but we live and learn is all we can do.... this show is very grey it's why I love it personally lol
I wish they characters developed more, Ah Sahm still the same old boy who picks up a fight without reason. Honestly he is the antagonist and his presence brought nothing but chaos.

This is 100% Young Jun's fault. The entire season was leading to this moment. Not only was Young Jun losing his shit the whole season, he started to see Ah Sahm as a threat to his position as leader of the Hop Wei, started losing trust on him based on his decision to work with Mai Ling to SAVE HIM FROM BEING DEPORTED and then later started to threaten to kill the woman Ah Sahm loved.
Now he decides to kill his sister and expects him to just say "Oh alright, go right ahead. No problem, I'll just hand around here until you come back with my sister's blood on your hands."
Feels like they rushed this fight encounter. Like it was bound to happen but unfortunately the show is in status of uncertainty where it can easily not get another season. It barely got a season 3, hoping to the gods we get more seasons since the show is criminally underrated and needs way more attention and love

He cared about everyone in this situation, so that made his choice so much harder to make. The best thing he was able to do here was not kill anyone and just give them a good beating.

My girlfriend was almost crying because her favorite part of this show was their brotherly dynamic. Young Jun by far the most open with his love for ah sahm and hong being an outcast but the new leader and best fighter chose to love him and ah sahm having the always fight between being a part of the tong and his blood sister
This series can't end here this scene's so heartbreaking, and I want chao to be avenged.

I was kind of Young Jun's side in all of this, because Ah Sahm was indirectly responsible for Father Jun's death which had a big impact on Young Jun, but then Ah Sahm fights them to save his sister Mai Ling who for the record I dislike as a character (not to mention she ordered Li Yong to kill Ah Sahm in season one). So I can really sympathise for Young Jun here.
Father Jun threw away Ah Sahm like a garbage after the fight with Li Yong in season 1, plus right now there was finally a peace between the tongs.

Looks like Season 4 will be the final season if they will be renew. There's no way everything will go back to normal like before after this and even Mai Ling have no one left by her side. BUT the polictics angle of the Ducks are just starting. Ah Sahm and his Sister have their own battle after this, I don't think they will have enough impact outside of their pond.
I'm just glad Ah Toy managed to avenge Lai's death and Ah Sahm GF managed to get away from this shithole.
We still have Leary's story to expand on and Penelope is still in that mental facility. Hopefully we reach 5 seasons, it may not look like it but we have plenty of content to go through. I do want to see a rematch between Ah Sahm and Li Yong. Li Yong barely managed to beat Ah Sahm and only so because of his plot armour. This season we saw Ah Sahms fighting style change quite a bit
@@ulysses4989 Ah Sahm and Li Yong's rematch will happen for sure but Ah Sahm will fight for his sister this time. I will be rooting for Leary as long as he will not add any more trouble for Ah Sahm and yeah Penelope I hope Ah Sahm can somewhat help her from her personal problems.

@@kodesh1674 Personally I'm doubtful since Li Young(when he's still with Mai Ling) was not really interested outside the pond, meaning they mind their own business and not really interested in venturing outside the chinatown not unless Mai Ling told them to like in Season 1.
But of course if Leary and his irish mob tries to personally erase the Chinese(again) since most of his White folks in the government doesn't really want to, then maybe Li Young will face him. I also doubt if Ah Sahm will still be interested fighting or defending the Chinatown if another attack from the outside occurs again.

Facts she caused so much bullshit cause she was paranoid and afraid and kept going for more power. The rings were able to go for years of stability cause everybody had what they wanted and even if they didn’t they were smart enough to play the game. Mei Ling meanwhile just keeps wanting for more and more without pause which cost her everything
I wouldn't say she was evil, she's just a survivor, Just like the rest of them
