- Want to know how to get the invisible mannequin look on a budget? All of the studios that are dedicated to clothing (and the bulk of online tutorials) use super expensive rigs and even more expensive mannequins. The rest of us use this technique to make clothes look their best for e-commerce and online sales.

Hi. First of all, thanks! Secondly, what's thing behind your mannequin? Thanks 😊
Great question. It's a pop-up backdrop! It folds down like a 5-in-1 reflector, except it's 5'x7', white on one side, black on the other. I also have a white/gray, and blue/green.
What's the name of the white curtain equipment in the back?
It's called a pop up background. There are several different brands, and normally white on one side and black on the other. Although I have one in gray, and another in chroma green / chroma blue. Collapses down into a big frisbee.
What editing app do you recommend?
For this specifically, Adobe Photoshop, but I have different apps for different purposes. (Video, mobile, etc)
Hi Sir
which camera do you use please?
I use a Canon 5dmk3, although this trick works on any camera.
What about button ups?
It's exactly the same process with button ups, sweatshirts, tank tops, etc. The important thing is making sure the angle is right for the back return. Something else I've seen is people holding the shirt open for button ups, but then the drape of the collar doesn't look right in my opinion.
Well that was fuckin awesome
