The Emmys and Oscars had to give him honorary awards 20+ years into his career (his first award from any of these institutions) after shutting out his shows and movies for years. He built an empire and still couldn’t be recognized because the people judging, culturally, don’t understand why his movies could be considered good and artistically great.

He walk up in the White House, sits in the presidents chair, and if he tells himself he’s the new president just like that, BELIEVE we got ourselves a new president. Two different energies! Both good in their own way
Joe with Rory and Mal at the peak of their friendship is the greatest pod of all time. But ish and ice is definitely better than the more recent Rory & Mal episodes.
Nah. Whenever I watch one I realize how much I want to see them with the other. Rory and Mal have a more light hearted comedic pod and The JBP is more of a informative debate show with laughs sprinkled in, and I often feel like they need each other to balance the vibe. I honestly hope they eventually peace it up so we can get a collab with everyone together.
Surf is really one of the most underrated music artists in the game. Bro music is so fire 🔥 As a fan of him in battle rap too, he should have been on this run he's on, but I understood why he wasn't. This next opponent doesn't even realize how spooky Surf is about to be come Sunday. Shoutout to one of my favorite rappers out right now and my favorite battle rapper besides Ill Will 💯

I absolutely love this episode!!! This solidified the new crew, proved that Joe is wrong, and he doesn't have "yes men". I've been waiting for this in the podcast. Collectively, this is entertaining and enlightening.
It’s really simple: ish is describing things as they are. Joe is describing things as they should be. If I bring billions to the table, who cares if I have a red star on my head or a grill? I’ve demonstrated my value. This is what Kanye was also ranting about. I’m surprised Joe didn’t bring Kanye & Nike’s history as an example to illustrate his point. Ish is right though: You can’t sit at that table if you’re perceived a certain way. Using Jay Z as an example was checkmate.
