Smdh. PLT has been off of my list for awhile especially after watching Pleasantly Unbothered video and seeing how they did her. These companies thjnk that WoC are happy with just getting some â free hairâ or makeup or clothing. They donât try this as much with Non WoC. Some of these companies donât really want to deal with PoC but they want our money and they want us to promote their products but behind the scenes are trying to pay people in free products instead of cash money.
In 2019 Iâm not only cancelling problematic brands and companies but I am going to start shopping black owned when possible( yes I know there are some black companies who can be just as shady as other companies I avoid them too) Thank you for speaking out and letting your followers/subscribers know about this.

Sister, I feel your pain I once worked with a company that took 6 months I repeat 6 months to pay me. Funny thing about some acct reps they expect you to understand like the don't get paid every 2 weeks. Like sis, thats why now I make sure it says in the contract net 30 if I can get net15 even better and honestly a few of us influencers where discussing adding a late payment clause to our contracts because it's soooo unprofessional to pay late.

I have a large following base on Instagram so they send me clothes to promote for them I feel like I should be getting paid for it but I do it in exchange for clothing I was sent a pair of pants that didn't fit in so I asked if I could exchange a pair of pants out and my response from the woman from pretty little thing was a we don't exchange gifts. I just didn't reply back because I feel like it anything I'm giving them they're not paying me anything to promote their clothes so I'm pretty much promote the clothes for free and the least they could have done was exchanged the pair of pants out that did not fit me because in my eyes that's not a gift at all

She posted how there were other people having the same issues their orders taking almost a month for them to receive those items even one of my friends said they never even sent her a tracking number & she had to contact them & no one knew where the package was luckily it popped up 3 days later but damn ! That immediately turned me off so I really believe this because it seems they are focused on just the money with no improvements to anything else and this was last summer & they still havenât put any effort into fixing their processes they are still trying to cut corners Iâm glad I caught this because even after their shipping issues last year I was thinking about purchasing again & decided to check my fav CZcamsrs first and this popped up. I've always trust you to give me the truth about a brand and its because of that truth (and your cool personality and style) I religiously watch your videos. DAMN and I just made my first purchase from them a week ago smh. Although I haven't recieved my package yet. This was a true eye opener to all you all have to do & put up with in this line of work.
