12:00 you probably already got it figured out but a sluice gate instead of the floodgate can automatically let water into that inlet based on the depth of it, basically the sluice gates are also stream gauges 👍 Enjoying the series and awaiting some medium water tanks!

Really good the video, and I think that you should join the power system to some water wheels in the bad water on your industry site. Also you would be better with a oak tree farm on the other side of the river, no pines. And maybe thinking about water crops now that the river is clean of bad water.
