Loved your choices. I’m just curious, have you smelled Tubereuse Imperiale by BDK? I just want to know how that compares to the amouage...I agree that alien essence is more interesting than original alien. I love both but Essence is soooo gorgeous!!
Hi Maria! I tried both! Love Tuberose is definitely more gourmand, a creamy edible tuberose with whipped cream & Tubereuse Imperial is like a buttery tuberose that’s more smooth rather than creamy. Both are sweet tuberoses but the BDK is more floral 😇 & the ylang makes it tad tropical but not overly so.
I have not tried it out! I actually am pretty behind in trying out bdk frags lol, if you ever end up trying it please fill me in 😊💙

Thank you so much Seba, I would say portrayal is not as creamy and has a much spicier kick with the characteristic incense of amouage, and no I have not but I've heard great things about that lush cult classic! 💙

Some ideas for videos: something similar to the one you did on indolic fragrance notes...it was very educational...very informative. Perhaps do one on oud. Or one on "resinous" - I'd find it very interesting.

How does the first perfume compare to Libre since they both have lavender?
I don’t have a lot of experience with Libre but from I do remember I find both perfumes to be different types of lavendar, libre has more of a clean smell whereas Lavandes is more herbal and milky 💙

Is Love Tuberose anything like Mancera Velvet vanilla? I want it but I don’t want to be redundant.
I personally do not find them that similar, for me velvet vanilla smells more like bubblegum to
than tuberose, but if you pick up on tuberose in VV than this might end up being redundant to you 💙

Do you think that if we layer Alien EDP and Aura by Thierry mugler we get something close to Alien Essence Absolue?
hmmm, no I don't think it would be that close because there is a specific mentholated feel to absolue that is hard to replicate!
