I also think people underestimate using a vortex with his primary fire. It allows for easy headshots and good kill confirms
I like how it stops ppl from jumping around like maniacs even without abilities
@@SLEEPYDOGINU As someone who plays a lot of mercy and lucio, it's a real nightmare sometimes. Getting yoinked off the wall or from the air is really stressful.
And annoying a Lucio lol
@@paper2946 i like it tho cuz its not really that annoying, like when your team is getting destroyed by a torb thats annyoing, but if you get killed by a vortex its not necessarily annoying and your team is still alive
@@no-ri3zj no team is getting âdestroyedâ by a torb, what are you on
top 500 ram/doom/sig and i still was able to learn at least one thing from this video. youâre always great at these types of videos if you did it for all the heroes you play nobody would be disappointed
Maybe in unrated đ

Top 500, Ram and doom main??? I guess I fell in love

Hidden skill: sometimes Ramattra glitches between forms and runs around in Omnic form, but Nemesis limbs still persist in T-pose on his model. It looks silly and will confuse the enemy team.
I'll give you the highest compliment I can on this: I went from "I'm not really sure about this character" to "Now I really want to give him (serious) a try." Thanks man. Amazing guide, as always.
One small tip: When on D on payload maps Vortex the enemy door when it opens. Get around 10% Ult if it gets the whole team.
Awesome video! Iâve been playing a ton of ramattra lately and Iâm pretty sure you covered everything that a new ram player needs to know. Plus, heâs for sure one of the most fun heroes in the game right now being able to adapt to almost any situation and having the ability to just a little bit of everything as a tank (except for high mobility like some of the dive tanks). You do an excellent job in making character guides.

Your videos are so well made and very educational. Never enjoyed playing Ram on release but seeing you pop off on him makes me want to try him more lol
awesome vid -- love the mini vod at the end where you talk through your thought process
Thank you for this! The way you explain things so calmly and give examples really helps!
This has significantly helped with my Ram gameplay! Thank you so much for this! I'm just getting back into OW2 and decided to pick up Ramattra, so this video helped me get better with him immensely! I love using my Shield, going into Nemesis Form, then as soon as Nemesis Form ends and my Shield is back up, I'll use Shield again then Ult with Vortex. This Omnic's got hands!
You make the best Overwatch guides. They're easy to follow but they give better direction than the more complicated ones. Hope ya keep making them.
Excellent format, Yeatle! Hearing your thought process put the concepts into practice is sooooo helpful. Thanks for making this!
been really enjoying the recent content! Thank you!
in nemesis form u can block and look up to block sigma flux dmg (same with doom block)
very strange interaction imo
@@KiraMahMan itâs not when you think about it. It works like a vacuum that pulls you up so looking up blocks where the damage actually comes from
@@TheWillrocks51 It is, the damage comes from the fall, the hit to the ground
@@paul4381 no, the interaction programmed into the game comes from above. The damage effect is shown when you land. The hit box comes down from the ceiling. Sigâs ult has worked this way since OW1. The damage is just shown once you hit the ground. If the vacuum doesnât detect a character in it, no damage numbers gets assigned. Hence why blocking above works

Really love these guide videos đ to see your view at some characters not just helpful but also really entertaining
lets go baby thatâs what weâve been waiting for!!!
You really made him so digestible whereas I just didnât even give him a chance for seeming too complex. Now I think Iâll main him! More vids like these - you made a sub outta me fs
Honestly just really love the music and vibe you set the vid too. That kind of touch goes a long way for making a new sub like me tbh
Love this! Especially the ult tips. Thanks Yeatle!
Really enjoyed this guide! Easier to understand than most other.
Dude Iâve been implementing your guide after watching and freaking slaying w Rammattra!!
the voiceover with gameplay at the end was a great touch! very helpful overall
love this. thank you!
Fantastic video, I hope you do more of these. Most guides are way too complicated for newer people. What would be helpful is knowing what Tanks hard counter Ramattra and what he hard counters.
Awesome vid! Can't wait for the next instructional one, I love how you explain everything :D
Crushed it per usual. Thanks Yeatle!
you make the best guides yeatle !
thank you for all your guides
RIP Coronium đmy man couldn't get a shot in those 1v1's đ
Honestly some of the most useful and practical guides around.
Thanks best teacher in Ow. Looking forward to bringing back the unranked to GM series in OW2.
Also interesting key bind on Ram
Please keep making these, I took a big break before OW2 and need a primer for these new/reworked tanks
Thanks for another classic Yeatle guide. I love when you do the gameplay breakdown and leave in all of the less than optimal plays. Shows you can still win without maximizing every single interaction.
More vids like this!! Loved the quick and console tips
W Guide Bro!! Thank You!
Shield placement is something you can get really good at. Recognise that shield closer to you means less angles you can be hit from while shield further away either forces enemy advances through the shield, cutting healing or allows your team space to advance.
If no one else is around it may even be appropriate to shield on the ledge/window of where someone like a soldier is shooting from to force them to get out of that vantage point
When advancing you usually want to place the shield far forward of you to give a safe traversal and gain space, which you can branch into nemesis if you get close enough
Block is really good at protecting your team too, somehow. Everyone seems to think that you will die if they keep shooting you but you wont, itâs a great distraction that takes damage income off of your dpsâ
Great video, thanks
This was a really good video. Thank you! He kinda feels like a "spam everything once you have it" hero, but there does seem to be a lot of little things you can maximize with him with your shield and vortex. When and where to use them.
Shuffle blocking is also a really cool technique.
Thank you !
top tier guide, thanks a lot!
Always loved your tip videos
I love how you added a gameplay analysis, it really helps to visualize the tips more in practice
Keep up the good work gamer
Great one Mr yeatle
thanks for the knowledge
Dude you doing great workđ
Great video, thank you
This was such a good vid đ
thanks for the guide and congrats on getting the rank 1 :)
never would have thought to melee during nemesiss, thanks for the tip
âBig visual clutter Hulk.â Love it lol
Great video!
saw that u helped ml7 get rank one so i thought i would check your latest vids. not disappointed. keep up the good work
Simple and quick !!
Thanks for the vid lad, donât have him still but is what it is
I have watched a lot of OW content for years, and this has to be one of the best brief guide videos Iâve ever seen. Instant subscribe! I main Rammatra, please keep the content coming. Do you stream? Iâd love to watch you play him regularly.
He streams on twitch a lot
thank u man
On the current patch (Mar. 2023):
Annihilation replenishes lost armor without the need to cancel Nemesis Form beforehand;
Annihilation no longer lasts forever. When damaging enemies, it will slow down its timer with a maximum duration of 20 seconds;
I don't know if anyone will read this, but I hope it helps someone.
PLEASE make more videos like this. You are such a awesome content creator. Thumps up :D
But I miss the old Ball times...

Big tip for doom and ramattra, when caught in gravitic flux block and look up to reduce the damage, it is a boon to your supports, at least if they survive it
Hereâs an additional (though obvious) tip: Prefire with the primary! It has a lot of ammo and it wouldnât hurt to prefire corners or common angles.
Thank you for the video, helped me learn a bit more about Ram :)
Few extra things Iâd like to add (though Iâm not great)
-Ram is actually supposed to get nemesis form back with use of annihilation but itâs kind of bugged. The most consistent way I could get three sets of armor so far was by waiting for the full transition from punchy form to pokey form pressing ult, but it needs more testing.
The above means that you can chain abilities defensively when needed, something like (but not limited to): shield, nemesis, ult, nemesis, shield.
-Remember to cancel your ultimate when youâre sure the fight is over so you can get ult charge.
-Poke form has higher dps than punch form by default, so cancel if you need the single target damage that much.
-Didnât mention the quick melee tech, maybe cause itâs might be patched or smth but basically in nemesis you block, then release and hold punch + quick melee and it removes the recovery you usually have from adding quick melee. So you get a quick melee with the same attack rate.
Thanks for the concise guide and real use demo without all the bruh.
Helps tryhards like me!
thanks yeetz
Good video.
WAKE UP BABE A NEW YEATLE VIDEO
All i want is a pop off game of yeatle on ram lol
Great guide! Although one thing I haven't seen you mention/use a lot is using Vortex to take duels before Nemisis. I find it very effective in this regard at slowing an enemy's escape, or giving me the edge if they are standing their ground. Unless you don't think this is optimal use?
U can use vortex against lucio mercy baptiste and sometimes for genji. When they are inside the vortex is so easy to kill him, so use that ability for those heroes
Been playing rein for a while. Hoping to learn something here
take my kids yeatle
thank you for the wisdom, father.
He plays like nasus
Waiting for the clip of when a Sigma tries to C9 you with his ult and you Vortex into a deflecting Genji to keep yourself from C9ing. It'll happen, if it hasn't already.
Oh, that would be so damn cool lmao.
How did that idea even form in your head? What originated it?
Ok, that sounds interesting... Do we know if enemy vortex can actually nullify Sig's flux C9?
Flats and Emongg tested it, enemy vortex would keep those stuck in Sigma's ult grounded - and they'd still take the full damage as well. So it'd be a risky play, but it would stop the C9.
Yeatle is my rammammy
I actually figured out that you should swing wide on corners against Rein/Orisa from this video and you didn't even mention it đ GM4 rn but thanks for the video fellow baller. Born to piledrive. FORCED TO PUMMEL.
good bideo
Nice
I love ramattra I've officially found my new main
He is also best paired with Kiriko or Lucio to get speedboosts for engaging
nice
Tip, when Sig ults you, pop nemesis and block upwards, you block the damage
Let's goooo
That 2555 damage at the first point at the end of the vid đł
bro was playing with Rokit at the end LMFAO
Btw another tip for yall didnât watch the overwatch rammattra review/checking his powers somebody said if you block In nemesis for your still vulnerable so keep that In mind
Been playing the game since 2019 and this is the first tank I didn't immediately start practicing or even playing. Oddly enough, I think I was waiting for yeatle's guide to dip my toes finally. Literally was thinking yesterday after seeing him (playing ram) duo with ML7 in his latest video rank 1 video; "huh, I wonder when we're going to drop the Ram guide" đ love how these things work. Thank you!!
EDIT: It also helped that ML was complimenting tf out of yeatle's tank/Ram play.. like more than I've seen him compliment anyone lmao
I mean, with how supports in OW2 feel like they're playing DBD, it sounds realistic their gratefulness towards a good and effective tank who can take the burden.
Extra tip for nemesis from pummel: when punching, you can crit for more damage by yelling either "ORA" or "MUDA".
All I learned was:
> Throw vortex over roofs and miss
> Push the Zen when he doesn't actually exist
> Donate free shields to Sigma by feeding him my vortex
so all u listened to were his mistakes hmm interesting
@@MakBagus I will give you to a hungry orangutan

I loved the part of the guide where Ramattra said "it's Rammin time" and rammed the entire enemy team, truly one of the moments in Overwatch
Alternate Video Title: "how to devour them"
The one issue I've had playing with him is a Zen on the other team. If I try to block his discord, even with both healers pocketing me, I just get ran over. If I try to focus him, their whole team just smashes me. I end up trying to use the sheilds to take most of the damage and playing passive, but I can't hold space, as I end up having to take cover a lot. I wonder if there's a better way to approach him.
I do think you could use vortex to cutoff choke points
Does yeatle not play ball anymore? Miss his ball vids
