Blonde hair was unnatural in Sumeru. Everyone knew that. However, Kaveh was a natural blonde. Long, bright blonde hair that faded into brown on some ends. Infact, he was known for his hair. People would call him 'the blonde haired architect.' at times. His hair was his legacy, what little left he had, he still took such great care of his hair. Anyone who knew Kaveh knew he was a very pretty man, and his hair only made him beautiful, angelic, even. They would also know that he prided himself in his blonde hair. Beautiful he looked, and he knew it. So why was he here now? In Alhaithams home that he is staying at, the bathroom, more specifically, a bloodied pale yet soft palm gently holding the pair of scissors, as his pink tipped fingers with longer nails then most were intertwined with the handles of the red hair scissors. He cut away at his hair, soft tuffs flat on the floor, a messy cut he did himself was there instead of his long beautiful hair, that even Alhaitham himself couldn't deny liking, as annoyed as he would get when he has it admit it. Kaveh looked different, he didnt look like himsef. He looked,, like a younger version of himself. Short strands of hair, still long, of course, but he wasn't able to say it was long enough to be considered his normal hair. He looked wrong. Like somebody trying to be Kaveh, but failed. 'This imposter cant be my Kaveh.' Al haitham thought, and he wasn't wrong for thinking so. The usual smile plastered on his face was gone. Sharp eyes that he had wider open most of the time were now droopy, covered in black mascara as his tears made it flow down with them. The worst part was that he was still, oh, so beautiful. Even while crying. But Alhaitham didn't want him to cry. Neither did he want him to cut his hair. Maybe, just maybe, Kaveh didn't find complete comfort in the pain Haitham has to make him feel so he can stay. And maybe, Al haitham can put aside his pride and aplogize?
Alhaithams breath stuttered as he peeked into the ajar bathroom, fists clenching as he watched his roomate kaveh. Kaveh who prided in his hair and how long he'd gotten it shakily chopping at it with scissors, eyes puffy from crying and smile gone. A plea rested on his lips, perhaps an apology but it was too late. Ruby eyes met his as a bloody hand slammed the scissors into the sink and shoulders shook with silent sobs. Alhaitham didnt know what to do now, brain scrambling for a logical way to go about it that wouldnt make things worse but he drew a blank. So he turned and walked off, brows furrowed in thought
Alhaitham always gives me a vibe of saying mean things in discusions or just talking about your traumas and illnesses, I keep my distance, I just don't like him
Yes he does say mean things in discussions or some talk with ppl but he is nice when needed, he just really isn't the type to show his own emotions ( My opinion btw)
