MTN Liquid Silver! THE PERFECT SILVER MARKER REFILL! ft Uni Paint PX-30

  • Nearly impossible to find but got my hands on MTN liquid silver paint and decided to fill up an empty PX-30 to see if it's up to the heavy duty task! Caught tens of street tags with this bad boy and can tell you it's worth the thought! Great to refill any metal or glass body markers, and clean up is real easy if you have mineral spirits on hand in case you make a spill or the marker gets sticky.

    Yup coming out the nib a bit. That’s the xylene going to work. Great job bro!

      That’s an OG teaching a youngin kind of lesson! Didn’t catch it on film but man was I confused when my tags looked “watery” a couple nights lol. The xylene in MTN is serious but makes for the most fluid tags!

      That means Aneks had the bottle and did not read any of it. Not only did he not tell anyone there was xylene but he put it directly in a plastic. I did not have the can. Great job on giving the proper info

    Does xylene destroy the plastic pump inside the marker?

    • @VILEPAINTS
      @VILEPAINTS  Před 2 lety +10

      No, certain plastics can handle the erosive effects of xylene such as the valve of this marker. Other softer plastics are the ones that get melted very quickly especially squeeze markers.

    Is it good to mix colors with the uni paint marker or use the same color as it came with the marker

    • @VILEPAINTS
      @VILEPAINTS  Před rokem +1

      Most paint’s will mix with the uni, some inks on the other hand sometimes don’t and gets eaten up by the silver. I’ve only ever used red pilot ink tho, but other paint’s like grog,mtn,otr blend well from my experience.

      A metal marker, if you put in a plastic container it’ll probably turn solid or melt it and that’ll make a big mess lol

      nah, its either street paint, acrylic or water based, which aren't the WORST chromes out there, i've used them a fair bit, but liquid silver is much closer to px30 chrome than to the other silver or chrome options from mtn

      @VILEPAINTS  Před 2 lety

      I got a pocket knife so I just slice into the nib a bit from the top and go around the edge but I only flared it out a tiny bit, I’ve seen people cut a 1/4th into the nib to fray it big. I’d look up art primo he does it really simple with a razor blade. Much easier to see it done than me explaining it tbh.
