Wish the camera had just stayed still and showed the whole performance or at least focused for longer. You know what I love about iKON? more than the emotional attachment in mix n match and WIN. its the passion for performing. Look at the other groups who have hard and really complex dance moves hinders them to sing live. iKON/YG artist, they dont have sharp dance moves but they make the stage entertaining by singing their heart out. Jumping and having fun in stage making the audience feel the energy from the performer. yeah, its making them look arrogant but they are just overflowinb with energy and confidence. I love iKON because they have the authentic YG STYLE runnine in their veins. iKON HWAITING!

Sometimes in ikon's song,live has more feeling and excitement than MV
for a 3 month old group, they're so comfortable in front of the camera. That's what going through 2 survival show prepared you for.
All year I've been really confused about the iKON hate but I haven't bothered to check them out. I tried to avoid jumping on the bandwagon because well, I hadn't ever listened to them. I listened to Dumb and Dumber last week and I feel like I've been missing out all year, these guys are really really REALLY good and they have an amazing stage presence. They are a very successful rookie group which is why people will hate on them. There have been a lot of successful rookie groups this year so it's better to just not compare, in my opinion. Anyway, iKON has a new fan today. If more people stopped hating and actually checked out their music, there wouldn't be any haters left, just saying.

Why should being a rookie set boundaries. Why is it wrong to perform longer than other groups because it is a 'rookie' group? I feel this limits the success of any group. It shouldn't matter if you have been in the industry for 50 years or 5 minutes. If you are working hard and doing well, you deserve a chance to shine, if you are lucky, shine for 10 minutes or 3. No one is entitled to anything because of age or amount of years in the industry. Good luck to the hardworking and lucky groups. , especially iKON.
These guys are not just idols but real artistes who can write their own songs with their talents and hardwork... Many great idol gtoups just sing what other producers or song writer composed. Their live performance is great because they OWN it.

I'm going to confess something. I didnt like ikon bc they came from YG. I'm not a Blackjack or VIP. Those groups never stuck with me. my friends tried pushing them but they more they did it the more I couldn't get into them. I had read somewhere that ikon was gonna be the next Big Bang. More reason for me not to like them. But I never heard a song from them.. so one night I take a chance I listen to what they had to offer. the only song I liked was What's Wrong. I played that song so much! I gave Rythmn Ta another try and I ended up liking it A LOT. Same went to Apology, My Type and Just Go. Now I take back what I said and I'm an IKONIC! I fell really hard for these boys and I haven't felt that way since EXO debuted (Sorry, I'm not an EXO-L anymore *Edit) I go looking for funny videos of Ikon and I just crack up bc they are just dorks but are also serious about music and performing for fans! There you have it... that's my confession and I'm anticipating a comeback already lol.

I have the same situation wt you, I seriously didn't stan any group from YG like idk what's wrong with me, I was ib my grade 6 when I heard of Team B in WIN, but I didn't bother keeping my eye on them coz I was head over heels on BTS that time, but then rn, I'm so into them, Even loving them more than how I loved any other groups before. And iKON helped me appreciate groups in YG😆 like I love their rapperssssss
I would also like to confess. I really didn't stan YG artists cause I'm JYP stan. When iKON released their song, Killing Me, I was like 'Ok...the song was pretty good'. But I just let it go. Then one day, I accidently watched the cuts of iKON tv, the episode where they're doing medical checkup, and it was super hilarious (Trust me, I still watch it now). And I watched the whole episodes of iKON tv. From there, I listened to all of their songs from their debut until Goodbye Road. So yeah, that's the end of my confession. And, one more thing, I am currently watching Mix and Match, so please don't bash :) And, I just want you know that my bias is Kim Jinhwan. That's all and thank you

1. BI's working ethics reminds me of JYJ/DB5K
2. they sing better live than on cd (which also reminds me of my babies DB5K)
3. they have stage presence like most of YG artists.
4. they work on their music.
and really, they remind me of KAT~TUN when they are performing. so much energy and you can say they enjoy performing.
I've followed them since WIN era and I'm glad they.debuted. hopefully they also promote in Korea and not only in Japan. these guys have talents and BI, despite his age, has earned my respect. A very hardworking leader who puts his group before himself.

+Gior Dancy It is because all of the rookie groups besides iKON got under 3 minutes and since iKON is a rookie, they wanted didn't think it was fair that iKON got to perform two whole songs for almost 8 minutes. They also got more time than some of their sunbaes. But, their songs were good and I loved their stage. Awards shows unfortunately always have unfair time distributions...
I am an iKON stan but I also like a lot of the rookie groups this year, so in all fairness, I DO wish there had been more fair time distribution (or at least have the rookie groups get to at least perform ONE full song). I'm not saying iKON should have been cut down to under 3 minutes either. But I do know that the time distribution is not at all iKON's fault. Despite the haters, they have been very successful (but YG just sucks at giving them positive hype....like YG what are you doing this year!?!)

Why must you hate on groups like iKON? Just because their fandom or light stick colour is the same as another group, why does it matter? Groups can't use mixed colour because representing would be difficult, so they stick to solid block general colours. Besides why should it matter. We all have one common thing and that is our love for Korean music. Whether it be Kpop, k-rock, k-indie k-hip hop, etc, we love it because of the culture and how it's different than mainstream American music. So what I'm trying to say is, you shouldn't let the little things affect your love for a group or genre. These things don't MATTER. This is just my way of ending fan wars because we are all sisters and brothers who share the love of Korean music. 🙂🎶🎵😌
