Simonize (the paste wax) then use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound (I think the full name is like Color Restorer, Swirl Remover) and you should see a nice reduction in small scratches, especially from backpacks or keychains. Also love the leaf blower, I usually ride up and down the street to dry.

CarPro products and a polisher is one of the best ways to remove scratches. Easy to do but do not linger in one place for too long. allow the surface time to cool if you end up going over it multiple times. Plenty of videos out there on using their products.
Despite it's friendly low seat height, many people cannot ride the scout because of the bars and pegs being to far out from the seat. Cool bike, but you need to have long arms and legs to be able ride one comfortably.. The bike is so hard to find that you have to wait months to get one.

I used Meguires Gold on my Scout, works well, is easy to find, and it's not expensive. I also use a leaf blower to dry. Hey, if you've got microswirls and scratches on your bike, it's gonna need a little polishing with that ScratchX from meguiar, or the Ultimate Compound from Meguiar's as well, you will need a polishing pad, applying with a microfiber won't work ;) Meguiar products are magical.
