- Here's a little intro edit of some clips we've captured of Blair Conklin skimboarding in Bodega Bay since he recently moved to Northern California for college. It's pretty much the first time we've filmed with a DSLR cam, so it's not the cleanest footage and unfortunately we didn't really capture Blair's best waves on the best days, but at least people can get a taste of what Bodega has to offer and how Blair can really shred it. Looking forward to capturing what he's really capable of and working on the Part 2 edit...

Haha yep this is the one and only Blair Conklin. Linked up with him to skim and film a couple days when he was going to school in Berkeley a few years ago.
When is part 2 coming?
Could be a while. Haven't had much opportunity to get more clips since making this video as he's been pretty busy attending college. Hoping we can film some more next fall when he's back up here and the waves are better though...

Wright's Beach.
Is that at high tide?
I think this was around high tide, but it can work at all tides depending on the sand setup. I haven't seen it break as good as in the video in a while though unfortunately
what beaches would you recommend in bodega area?
