im a beginner in crochet. i started like 1 wk ago in crochet, but now im in my 5th square (using your pattern). im really grateful of how it turned out, i promise to tag u when i finish my cardigan using your pattern. thank you.
I'm so glad you like it!, I can't wait to see it
how many grams did u used?
If you are making four different colours of squares then you would need 100 grams of each colour for XS size
The way you so effortlessly started working that magic circle was mesmerizing, before I even finish groaning after reading magic circle in the caption your little fairy fingers made it look so easy
I have never made a cardigan but I think this one will go so well cause of you so thx for helping all of us along the way ☺️
Just finished mine and it turned out really pretty. It does look big during the process but the ribbing will make it fit nicely. I also added another row of squares at the bottom of the body to make it full size instead of cropped. It's perfect :)
Thanks for your comment, I was thinking of it making it full size myself.
Hey how much yarn did you use?
Did you have problems with the sleeves being too short?
@@imenxx5915 Sorry I don't know I used left overs but it weighs around 600 grams
@@sophiafritz1760 Yes they were too short for me but being tall (180cm) I have long arms. So I forgot to mention I added a few rows to the sleeves before adding the ribbing
This is a really beautiful short sweater and I love it 😍 you've made it so easy to follow too, thank you‼
Love the color combination. 😊❤️. Thank you for sharing.
Turning on notifications for you was the best thing I’ve ever done!! Can’t wait to make this
🥺😭💖💖💖
So loving this and all your patterns 😍 going to start mine tomorrow and colors are so beautiful 🤗🙋
I've been searching for the actual originator of this lovely cardigan! So many are just using your picture as click bait and they just show other photos. So glad I found you! I’m going to try this!
The colors you chose got my attention. Very pretty and you use easy stitches. Cheers!
I loved making this cardigan. I just finished mine using DK yarn instead so did more rounds but made sure i ended up close to the measurements. It looks amazing. Thank you for sharing your amazing pattern 🫶🏽💕

(anw check her blog, linked on the description box, she wrote the details like how much yarn you'll need for this project)
I've been making amigurumis for some time now, but my new dream is to make this cardigan 😅 It is so pretty! Thank you for showing us
absolutely loved this pattern! I have a tighter tension so I had to make a lot more squares💀 but so worth it
Very cute. I had a favorite Red Heart with Love yarn that was called Garden. It had the same pretty colors as your cardi. I might make it just a tad longer to cover my always cold posterior. Great music!,
i have no words to say how amazing you are. i just started crocheting and you are such an inspiration and support. thank you so much for this 💙
Thank you for your kind words 😭💖
Your pattern is so cute! I've made tree cardigans with it all ready, now I'm on my third. Lol
Умница, золотые ручки! 😊🌹❤❤

🥺🥰🥰🥰
I know right!
hello :)) thank you so much for this !! ive always wanted to make a sweater and I had just started learning to crochet when i had found your pattern !! although I used a different granny square pattern I've been able to modify my own granny square pattern to easily create the sweater ! thank you for making your patterns so accessible and beginner friendly :)))) !!
how many grams of yarn you used to do this cardigan?
This took me so long to make
Thank you so much for putting this pattern out!! I just love the look! I’m doing light pink and sage green in each square so it looks checkered! I’m using sparkle rose buttons and adding flower pockets!
Ok but that sounds adorable!!!! I wish I could see it uugh I’m slowly making a rainbow one but I need so many squares aaahhh
@@nicolecartine6208 it honestly turned out so stinkin cute!!! 🥰
I wish you luck, it was definitely mind numbing making so many dang squares and then sewing them all together but i promise it’s so worth it!
Cool!❤️❤️❤️
Waouh bel ouvrage facile et bien expliqué.
Very nice!
That ribbing looks less bulky than other methods I tried..l wish I'd seen this first! Lovely cardigan and great tutorial.
I started this last August 2022, made the squares too big, undid the lot and now on the ribbing in September 2023. I'm not scared of making things right, it's a learning curve after all!
this was my first sweater ever i’m in love 😍 i used the M/L measurements, i probably could have made a Small but i decreased the waistline before adding the ribbing and it turned out really nice, oversized yet cinched 🤎
What was the finished measurement on the medium/large size that you made? I did not see the measurements in the pattern. I am looking to make one for someone with a 36" chest.
It is a great pattern and would be something different and cute for a 17 year old.
you can easily calculate them yourself. the panels all have the same number of granny squares. just the size of the granny squares are different depending on the size.
I love 💗
I officially don’t hate granny squares anymore lol.. almost done with this cardigan after 3 weeks
I am soon to dig into my stash. I want to make one for my granddaughter. Maybe her friend too. Not sure what I have for yarn, as I was given a bunch. LOL! I get to "shop" too.
WOW! 🎇
It took me months haha but I finally finished my cardigan last night 🥹 the sleeves are a little to big because I choose M/L instead of XS/S but its cozy and I love it! 😍
I started crocheting M/L size 3 days ago. Trying to be as fast as can but still on 6th square😅 Eager to complete it as see how it turns out. ✌️
@@_BR0111_ Its gonna be great, its a really nice piece and I have shown it to every one who visits haha its something to be proud about finishing 😊
Awsme 👍😍👍
I just finished making this for a friend!! fantastic pattern, and turned out gorgeous (even if i had to trust the process a bit hahaha)! I also made the gingham tote bag a little while ago, so i will definitely have to check out more!
What kind of yarn is best?
@@dimpin8316 I just used 100% wool yarn because I'm not really familiar with other kinds
@@indiana1604 how bout acrylic yarn?
@@dimpin8316 acrylic yarn is fine I think, it's definitely more affordable! It's just not the best yarn in terms of being made from plastic, the yarn is sometimes rougher on your fingers than wool, and the resulting jumper won't be as breathable (might be more sweaty and hot). Basically you can definitely make it out of acrylic! But I'm sure looking up the characteristics of different kinds of yarn for specific projects would be a good place to start. For example, wool might be more suited to a clothing and acrylic might be more suited to non-clothing projects. It depends on what you are looking for from the yarn (price, look, feel, etc)
I MADE THIS!!!!!
It would be great if u create a video of attaching the squares together to form a sweater
Thank you so much!! Can i do one row more squares in the bottom so its longer❤
Please help me. Your diagram on your website got me confused. It shows a 2 squares long sleeves. However, your pictures show 3 squares long sleeves. Is there something off here or with the front and back panels?
gonna make this after i came back from hostell
Absolutely love this pattern and can't wait to try it!! Would I be able to make it with DK weight yarn?
Yes! I’ve had someone actually already make it in DK weight yarn and it looks good! It will probably just use up more yarn because you might have to work more rows to fit the gauge
Love the music; reminded me of Beauty and the Beast
How much do your xs/s squares measure?☺️
Amazing and beautiful pattern!! Can’t wait to try it! You’re one of my favorite accounts 💗
The front and back panel squares measure 5in x 5in and the sleeve square measure 7in x 7in 🥰 and thank you for your support 😭💖
thank you for this! btw, i would like to know what is the first music you used
Hiii i love this cardigan and i can’t wait to make one for my mom so can you pleaseeeeeee tell me which size you were wearing so i can make for her using this size😊
So cute!!
How many skeins for each color please?
Thanks!
Very nice❤
I'm making also crochet
Love this cardigan. I have same granny square already made from another pattern. Does somebody maybe know what the sizes are of the front and back panel squares and the sleeve squares? I would love to make this cardigan with the granny squares I already have!
Me: i want to do a lot of crochet projects but i'm yarngry i can't afford a set of hook and yarns yet , I GIVE UP!
Saw your blog 🧐😍
Also me : 😅 just kidding...
I MEAN OH MY GOSH , YOU INSPIRE ME 💖😘
🥺😭💖💖💖💖
Can I make this with Bulky 5 for some extra warmth? I read the blog pattern, I think the squares measure 5 inches for the body and 7 inches for the arms?
Love your pattern, but for me the directions are two small to see.lol. I m going to try either way. Love to make this.
Shumë i mire xhemperi te luntë
Hi thank you for sharing this 💞
Can ask what's your blog? I wanna find the 4xl size
This is really cute! I may just give it a try. How many yards are there in the skein of yarn you're using? TIA ... Oh, never mind. Followed your link to the yarn. Thanks for sharing!
I am soooo excited to make it!Love the results soo much!Btw is the granny square like a normal one or diff?if it is diff then can i just make a normal one?does that work?
Hi there! Thank you for the tutorial! On the first row of the cuff ribbing (sc2tog all around) it looks as though you are working into the front loop only but I don’t see any notes about that in the pattern. Are my eyes tricking me? ☺️
I have this same question!
can i do double crochet instead of the magic ring you’re doing?
¡Hola!¿ Para este proyecto usaste acrílico o hilo de algodón?
For the sleeve just 4 squares (6 rounds) back and front?
I’m done with all the squares and very anxious to finish it What color yarn did you use to seam it together? You didn’t say in instructions. Thank you. Love this pattern can’t wait to finish it.
Hello! I loved this tutorial but i do have one question. I am making a xs/s and my small squares each measure out to 4 x 4 instead of 5 x 5. But when i put the 4 x 4 squares all together, the total length equals 20 inches across which doesnt match with the 5 x 5 inch measurement that was required. If the squares were 5 x 5 it would be 25 inches across which isnt size xs/s! I hope this makes sense and i would really like you to help me with this mistake i made. Thank you!
8:20 Number of rows/ different sized squares
11:49 layout of squares
Just some time stamps to help me lol
Hey 👋 which colour yarn did you use to sew the squares together? Thank you!!! Your pattern is great btw I love it so much ❤❤
If you want to sew them like she did, so invisible way, it doesn't matter, use what you've got
How did you get the ribbing to not make a ripple effect on the bottom?
how many skeins of yarn does it take to make it?
Hey !how many balls of yarn did you use to make this?
Is using Milk Cotton yarn for this project also works? Thank you in advance😊
