Controller Superglide Macro using Steam!

- Hey everyone, I have something pretty amazing in store for controller players, and just one more reason to move over to controller if you haven't already Sorry M&K players. This tutorial will show you how to setup a one button superglide macro that can be used if you are are using steam and are on PC. Recent Discovery, I've found that also adding your crouch as a Hold to repeat (Turbo) will work 100 times better!
as a command? what delay?
@@John-ix8ii when you go to assign crouch during the process I explained, set it to (Hold to repeat (turbo) and not what I said in the video.
@@AchillesPlayzGG gotcha thank you it feels really good however it feels a little inconsistent when i add a tap strafe but maybe its just a timing thing on my end. great vid thank you

what do we set as the repeat rate for turbo??

Nice video! It works pretty well. I'm gonna mess with it and see if I can make it even more consistent. One thing I would change though is just doing everything you did to your D-Pad Button directly to you B button in steam configs. That way the Xbox Accessories isn't needed to begin with and you don't need to flop anything around. Also if you want your D-Pad button to be B you can also do that directly in steam configs. I left me D-Pad button default so I could weapon inspect. I also have the elite series 2 controller and honestly I disable it and do all my editing in steam configs. But this definitely made super gliding easier.. it's honestly the only movement tech i didn't really do.

If you look at my pinned comment, there was a more recent discovery that if you set the crouch to hold to repeat it works even better.
This is the best video i have found, and the only one that worked for me.
I use superglide on leftstick click, and my tapstrafe is set to my jump button.
Ive been unable to superglide before this due to tapstrafe on jump messing with the superglide interaction, but now im glidin all over
Bro please please help me!! I have tap strafe setting and I’m trying to add super glide and I don’t wanna mess my setting up just wanna ask a few questions if can in discord
@KidYouRage I don't know how to make it work with tapstrafe as a stick, only jump.
What I did is in steam browse community configs and chose the one that says "tapstrafe hold jump/x/a
I then followed the video here but put superglide on stick instead of the dpad

Figured it out.. i turned off the turbo althouhh that does make the timing more forgiving for the initial jump. Two reasons one is integrity and the other is that turbo inputs often mess up chaining other inputs like tap strafing out.
I changed the delay on jump to 8 and start on end for crouch to 8 then the other two values to 0 incl fire delay end on crouch
I chose 8 bc its 8 ms and 1 frame at 120 fps is 8.3 so it has the highest chance of a successful glide. I hit consistently after that.

No you would simply use the PlayStation equivalent
Its sad people need configs to do this. Im on console and do them consistently. Just shows the state Controller players are in 😂

Yeah it works really well. You just have to make sure that you load steam configs each and everytime and make sure that they load properly, everytime.
