Robin Williams on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Season 3 Episode 9 (2000) #whoselineisitanyway #robinwilliams - Krátké a kreslené filmy
*Sorry for having to blur some footage around the **3:10** mark for about 25 seconds. CZcams was fighting me on Copyright and I had to re-edit a bit!*
Why would a part of the video have to be blurred for copyright reasons? It would make sense if someone was wearing a corporate logo, or there was a piece of music playing or something. But I'm confused why that particular section had to be blurred? 🤔
Do what ya gadda do. Thanks for sharing this treasure
That's alright, we all love to be treated like an imaginary 12 year old teen girl. Not your fault.
It’s not about something vulgar or corporate. CZcams can be weird when it comes to copyright. It can be something as simple as blurring a 20 second clip to get it passed and be just enough to considered it fair use. It’s CZcams’s world, I’m just trying to play in it.
@@flixandclips That's so bizarre. You'd think at this point, it wouldn't be so vague and unclear as to what the guidelines are.
This show was perfect for Robin Williams. He was the ultimate improv actor. Still miss him.
I have to agree. I was a huge fan until I realized how desperate he was to make people laugh, which made me feel for him. But, definitely the greatest improv actor ever. He had no equal there.
RIP Robin Williams love this but young Robin Williams with Jonathan Winters on Johnny Carson is comedy gold
Yes for job description, not for pay. He was worth so much more than that job could have offered
Would love to see Conan do it
Hugely missed. If only I could wind back time, I’d happily quit my career and offer a hand… anything (except my 8-ball).
And not a single buzzer was respected that day. Gold.
Fuck that buzzer...
Robin Mother$-#@¥¥¢§£& WILLIAMS is improving. Respecting the buzzer would be oddly disrespectful.
He and Wayne had great chemistry
Hubs and I got to see a Wayne Brady Improv show in Vegas several years ago. He is amazing.
I have great respect for those guys but Wayne is the only one that had a chance to keep up with Robin.
@@greystone98he can also sing. He was amazing in The Masked Singer and he did great in Hamilton. Didn't actually see him but from the CZcams clips he slayed it just as good as Leslie Odom Jr.
@@greystone98 "Hubs"...really?
@@breeze_japanese Yeah. What’s wrong with “Hubs”?
the stinger! "I have a career, what the hell am I doing?" 🤣
I'm glad that was saved for last in this clip.
You actually included that "what the hell am I doing" bit! I've been looking for that one forever!!!
The fact that everyone loved that shows just how great a sense of humor everyone had.
I was dying when I heard that!! 😂😂
You know how effective Robin is as a comedian when he hasn't started talking yet, but he already made you smile.
🤍
The man had an undeniable gift
@@idleminded1 yes. There are just comedians who does that. Especially our preferences.
Edit: our
The man that made the world a better place by merely existing ❤
I know. He was a guy you didn't think of every day, but it was nice to know he was out there making someone laugh.
I truly hope he knew how much he was loved. That being said although in most cases I find suicide to be a selfish act sometimes it's not sometimes you want to spare your loved ones the inevitable pain RIP
@@janetcallanan7020 - I agree, but I think he was diagnosed with dementia and didn't want to lose himself and burden his family. Idk what I'd do in the same situation...
Exactly!@@tiberiussempronious6252
He absolutely did and why he’s still so loved and missed 💙💖💙
the energy was different this episode. amazing
Absolutely. Everyone stepped up their game
You got Robbin Williams on the show. You bet everyone brought their A game. Even Drew who usually ain't funny, was on top of his game.
Colin spoke of this episode on a podcast years later.
Nothing but glowing things to say about Robin how gracious he was abd his brilliance.
He said what else can you call but a once in a lifetime experience
Robin was an absolute master at improv. He could go into comedy clubs and improv a set right on the spot. There are very few that could get away with that. I don't think Robin ever had the best material. But, he could just right on the spot get everybody in stitches.
I think one of his best movies and stories is that of Aladdin.
They animated so much extra for the genie because Robin just went off script all the time. His frantic improv energy comes through. The decision to keep on animating was gold.
He was very genuine. He made fun of everyone not out of spite but because we all do funny and stupid things. And he could rattle off so much so quickly. He delivered it with so much charisma and manic joy amd chaos that you couldn't help but love it. But he proved he could also be extremely powerful and serious. Dead Poets. Mrs. Doubtfire and so many others.
@ZesPak the directors tell the story that he came in amd read the script and then he asked of he could "play." And they said sure. Apparently there are HOURS of audio that they could never in a million years use from that session locked away somewhere.
How honored they all must have felt to have the chance to work with Robin.
oh my gosh - the look on Wayne Brady's face when Robin Williams was pretending to be a cheerleader! you know he absolutely expected Robin to say that word that rhymes with truck.
With some decent reason: Williams did occasionally forget he was on network TV and would go blue.
Admittedly it could’ve been censored like the others were a lot of times, but that too costs money.
Robin williams was like the finale boss fight of improv
Except for maybe Michael Scott. I mean, how can you top a gun?
I remember when episode this first came on the air. When Drew was introducing the contestants and he got to Robin, me and my mother were like "Nooo! It can't be! It is! Woohoo!"
I was just sitting here thinking the dame thing. I don't even remember them advertising he was going on to be on. Maybe they did and I just missed it, but I remember just sitting down with the fam to watch the new who's line is it anyway and all of a sudden there's robin Williams! We all knew we were in for a good episode when we saw him on that stage. But yeah, he was a huge star already, so it was super surprising to see a huge movie star on a network TV show like this. That's why that joke he made about "I have a career. What the hell am I doing here" was so funny, because I think it's the same thing everyone else was wondering too lol
This was perfect for Robin Williams he is perfect for improv
The Genius that is Robin Williams....
This is an absolute gem of TV history. I was 13 when this episode came out and my family and I all absolutely lost it. Amazing memories. RIP Robin Williams.
I don't think I've laughed at anything this hard in tv before or since.
Wayne helping Robin stand during the interpretive dance was symboloc for the troubles some men have "getting up", what a stunning performance
That's why Drew was beating that buzzer like a bongo. He got the message but he wanted to get past this before the censors got it.
I love scenes from a hat! 😂 especially when the late great robin Williams is in it 😂 god rest his soul. R.I.P robin
The most surprising thing to me about this is not that Robin Williams was once on "Whose Line." It's that he was once BLONDE! When was this?!!!
I think he was filming one hour photo when this happened.
You need to watch One Hour Photo. It's a great performance by him. Not your typical Robin Williams film.
The most surprising thing to me was that he was only on the show once.
He was also blonde for filming Popeye, but that was 20 years prior to his appearance on this show.
His best movie imo. He scared me @@joevictor53
This was by far the greatest episode of Who's Line of all time
You need to see the one with Richard Simmons. I laughed so hard I cried!
@@4saken404 Yes, that was incredible :D
Robin Williams was by fat and away one of THE greatest comedians of all time
The absolute Master of Improv having fun and giving a Master Class in Improv. Miss him.
My God!!!! Robin Williams was a Master at this!!!! ❤
This is kinda how he started out
This was, quite possibly, the single greatest episode of the show. Not only was Robin Williams just as absolutely excellent as he always was, but he seemed to elevate everyone else. Everyone was firing on all cylinders. It was perfection.
I still think this is the greatest episode of Whose Line of all time. Even above the Richard Simmons one.
Robin Williams is just that good. One of the greatest and funniest comedians of all time.
In the entire history of the world there will only ever be one Robin Williams.
I miss that brilliant, brilliant man. Very much so. Rest in Peace.
There will only ever be one of you, too. Life is a gift from God. ❤
@@davidalankaminskiYeah, but they ain‘t Robin Williams.
@@davidalankaminski Please don't.
Nah, that was certainly bad ep. Williams tried to hijack the show, and it's clear how annoying he was for the regulars. Good thing that celeb import didn't catch on.
@@droopy_eyes clearly you're an expert on the subject !!
Started watching Ryan and Colin on the British show years ago. Glad to see they are still doing it on tour. As for Robin - we miss you maestro.
I love Robin Williams and like many others he was a part of my childhood. I wish that the world could have found a cure for his awful diagnosis before he passed. RIP.
This comment is refreshing to see in that for once, it isn't someone attributing depression as the sole reason he killed himself. His disease was almost the perfect anti-Robin illness. It likely slowly ate away at everything good he loved and drip fed him anxiety and fear.
@@mike_nelsonI agree. He had handled depression for so long and he helped so many by being open and talking about it. The Parkinson’s and dementia that were so bad with no cures or treatment put him in a place where he’d reach a point of having no control over his decisions and so he made his own decision while he still could. My husband’s grandfather had it and made the decision to go into a hospice where he refused water and food and received pain care to keep him comfortable. He was highly intelligent and in his 90s and it was his only legal option. H said his goodbyes and once he went in everything was already set up and the familknew he didn’t want his family to see his suffering which would only be more painful for all. He passed quickly and peacefully without pain. That was a blessing for everyone but still hard. It would have been hard any way it happened but he picked the one option that caused the least pain. Wonderful man and so was Robin. ☮️🙏🏻🙏🏻💙💖💙
Miss Robin Williams. He was an amazing actor and such a tortured soul. ❤
Can't do without my daily dose of Robin. Hope he's enjoying a better world.
RIP Robin. You are still very much missed
Miss this guy!! Hopefully he is at peace!
Am I the only 1 who misses Robin so much? 🥺 him and Jim carey are comedian actors that could never be replaced
Robin Williams was the king of improv
and stealing jokes
@kluneberg8952 what jokes did he steal?
@@BossyGerbasi don't have an exact one because a lot of his sets weren't recorded. its well known in the comedy world that he would steal jokes but he would give money to comedians who called him out on it.
@@kluneberg8952 oh interesting, never knew that. Thanks
Not sure why this popped up on my feed, but it made my day
We miss you, Robin!
When Jonathan Winters was appearing on "Mork and Mindy", he and Robin Williams appeared together several times on Johnny Carson. OMG! It was amazing to watch them improv together.
Jonathan also had his own variety program. The last 10 minutes of the show, it was just him. His crew would throw props at him and he would ad lib, using the object. It's a feature on Drew's show, but it comes from Jonathan, who got it from Steve Allen and Ernie Kovacs. But Winters was the master.
Wow you just unlocked some childhood memories about Jonathan Winters show. Was my favorite part of it
Robin was the perfect guy to have on here. I miss and love that man so much. R.I.P. to my favorite comedian and favorite actor
“Who’s your daddy?” Apparently he knew ventriloquism… 👀
* Involuntarily spits out coffee... * 😆
FACTS!!!
Thee guys are improve perfection. Robin Williams was a genius and I hope he's found peace. He deserved better.
A world treasure. He could think on his feet. What a rare gift.
he was a genius and to think what pain he was hiding rip robin you was there when i was growing up as mork from ork never forget you
The world needs Robin’s exquisite humor right now!
Robin was GREAT!!
No He Will Always Be Great
This was by far one of the best episodes they ever had
Robin still getting laughs in 2024. RIP legend.
Ugh!!!! I miss this man so much. Robin is a King in every way. Improve, standup, acting, etc. Oh, how I miss him. He will forever be remembered as the best of the best.
I miss Robin RIP
I can't believe I am so old this happened & I was over 20 years old, & it was still 20 years ago. This feels like yesterday. This was still the last few good years of life before Facebook came & ruined it
Yo my man. I'm 52 years old and have never had facebook. I get a lot of sh*t for not being on it, but there is a world out there still without facebook. just break away, you can do it.
What a great Show! Robin always brilliant and of course all the members were so talented!
Robin Williams was a national treasure
God I miss this man, the world will never laugh that way again
Robin Williams was an absolute comedy genius. It’s funny to see them all working together, upping their game with every round. I wonder how much couldn’t have been aired. Thanks for the laughs.
Robin Williams will be forever missed. He was truly a master at his craft and 1 in billion
We miss you so much! 😢
Impotence is a horrifying thing.
jeez robin was such a natural you can see the others struggling to keep up with all the wit
Lmfao Robin is an all time comic. Even with how sad I am hes gone, I burst into huge smile every time I see a video or think of him.
Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about, be kind always.
Robin and Wayne mixed together perfectly 💯 still hurts we lost him but he left us gems like this to remember why we love him. He was a man who loved comedy but behind his smile in pain. I wish he knew how important and deeply loved by millions of people. Wish I could tell we still love him to the core 🫠
I miss him so much.
That Ricky Ricardo had me rolling 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for sharing 💜 Robin is a beautiful soul
God, I'd love to see the outtake reel from this episode...
Starting at 1:58 - pay attention to Wayne; apparently he thought Robin was gonna fire off a different rhyme, LOL.
Love...love...love Robin Williams....he broke the mold.
Glad i saw this. Especially b4 bed. Very delightful....& in memory of Robin Williams.
Every time I see Robin,i get sad. He brought so much joy and talent to this world.
I bet Robin's hair looks like that because of him playing Sy Parrish from One Hour Photo. The movie was released in 2002, but was filmed in 2000.
i used to watch this show a lot it never gets old
He was such a spark of energy and silly yet tactful. Miss Robin so much!
It's a shame he had his demons but God damm he could make anyone laugh..he was a comedic genius..
This is probaby one of the rarest pieces of media ever made. Robin Williams GENUINELY smiling and having fun. A rare bit of respite in a life void of any real happiness for a man who dedicated said life to bringing joy to others
If there's one person that fit this show like a glove in all its history, it was Robin Williams.
RIP Robin
I miss you Robin Williams, I hurt for what happened. One day I hope to see you heaven.
The memories the great Robin left with them are priceless, freakin awesome
I'm a millennial and grew up watching Robbin Williams; Hook was one of those movies I watched on repeat as a young kid ❤ I'm obviously young still but his death has been the only celebrity death that made me cry when I found out. It was so tragic.
I miss Robin Williams. I hope he's finally at peace
God I miss him, O Captain My Captain
RIP Robin, one of the funniest people ever. ❤❤❤
Classic and iconic. He was my childhood. Rip RW. Suicide is no joke. If you need help help because of suicide and get help
I can't help feeling sad. This is so uproariously funny. They were all so good at improv. But Robin Williams was far and beyond such an incredibly talented man. Made me laugh every single time. Seeing this reminds me of what we lost. Rest In Peace dear man I miss you and I know millions also miss you. Gone much too soon. He went ahead, we''ll be there too someday and see each other again. Thanks Robin!
This was awesome. Thank You!
I wish he was still here❤️
I used to have this one episode saved on my phone back in the day, it was the only full length episode of anything I ever kept on my phone and it always made me laugh. 🥰
Robin Williams was such a brilliant man, it is sad the world couldn’t help him as much as he helped our world.
4 improve comedy legends with Drew as a Host. That might be the best improve comedy episode of all time.

RIP comedy god Robin Williams. 🥲
Fing legend. The epitome of comedy
I still miss him so much.
The regulars on this show are some of the best improvisational comedians ever.
Robin however was an Improv GOD. A deity of off the cuff humor. A force of comedic nature on a good roll.
He is missed by millions of not billions. Talent like his is.... Well, we were all lucky to witness it.
That last one left my light headed from laughing.
