What I love about this video is the definition of being an adult. Things do not come your way. I am inspired by how you handled yourself by reaching out to the admin office for further clarification regarding why you were not accepted, understand what to do next, & making those steps to make that appeal. I think a lot of us when we get rejected in anything in life we feel like “oh that’s it” but this video shows that sometimes you should go out of your way to simply ask & not give up because who knows about the miscommunication/inconvenience that had happened along the way. I’m so happy that you ended up getting accepted I’m sure that must feel a relief but I’m also so happy that you had to go through this to be able to get to where you are now. There are going to be so many opportunities in the future where we’ll be let down but keep your head up girl! There will be things meant for you & there will be things not meant for you❤ can’t wait to see you in your element!!

I believe this is what life is all about: figuring things out as we go. Choosing something that you think is good for you, at the time, and then some time down the line, you realise that it doesn't work for you and then choosing something different. Personally, figuring out what life I want for myself has been an everchanging process and you know what, changing (for the better) is good. Kenna, I'm glad that you took the steps to alter your life and do what you believe is best for you, no matter how hard or weird it is. I can't wait for all the good that's yet to come!💗💗

If you wanna switch majors, schools, or leave schools. DO IT, BUT make sure you have a plan and you have something to aspire to!

miss girl!!!!! i am SO happy that you made the decision to jump. being stuck in that headspace for so long and having the courage to do better for your well being is monumental. this story struck home for me, when i had graduated high school, i took a gap year and went on a backpacking trip to learn myself more and figure out what i wanted for myself. it was incredible, but it also made me feel more lost than ever. i remember visiting my friend’s at my state’s university and found that same feeling - the feeling of belonging, adventure, and home - and then i made the same decision to jump, apply for this school and see where it takes me. i’ve made the best of friend’s and still reside near my college town. i cannot WAIT to see where this journey takes you!!! i’m so happy for you and so glad that you found the mental clarity to do what you needed the most. i hope santa barbara welcomes you with open arms :) can’t wait for all of the content!!!! 🩷
