I like it too. Critics and the average movie audience just didn't want them together again unless it was Sandy and Danny. I've seen far worse movies which have done better and received at least average reviews.

What do you mean overlooked? It went multi-platinum in ‘83/84 and Olivia had a top hit with “Twist of Fate.” I can still remember going to the record store as a kid and buying the 45 RPM single. The movie was forgettable but the soundtrack certainly wasn’t!

While ONJ Fans helped the album go platinum and sent "Twist of Fate" to number 5 on the charts, the other songs including this one, received very little (possibly locally?) to no radio play here in the states! Although after the video was released this song went to number 1 in Luxembourg! Journey's "Asked the Lonely" received play 9 years later as did "Only the Young" on the "Vision Quest" soundtrack (Both of which were left off Journey's1983 "Frontiers" album!) when they was in included in the 1992 box set "Time3" as a "rarities"!
