I use a light nail weight angled in the belly with a wide gap screw lock 2/0 hook (side hook) and it swims right. Also try it with a simple drop shot hook and weight about 9" (been awesome in cold months; morning hour)

Honestly its extremely hard to get to swim straight i found using the inline rig is the best way but I don't use the Berkeley Gilly much because of how hard it is to get to swim straight
yes, it swims like it's dead. Lays on its side and looks dumb. I was caught up by all the YT vids on this so I ordered each size. They all three look like crap in real life. Berkley has caught more fishermen than fish with this bait.

Seeing it in water with a bladed jig I feel like pulling the skirt off would be the best choice. Want to see the 90 on the mini or micro whatever chatterbait that came out around the same time. Used it with the new small size Yamato swim bait that that has similar profile and got a few really good bass for my area. Going to try pulling skirt off in general for this profile. Looks like It was already drug through weeds with the skirt. Also how are they not getting sued?
When companies run out of new ideas 💡, they make the same bait that another company does and call it something new 😂 And pros are just salespeople these days, if Pepsi pays them more, they like the taste 👅 of Pepsi better then Coke 🤣🎣👍
Hey Berkley make this bait , same profile , same but in a topwater type perch with the double hook , when those perch are sucking underneath Lillie’s , I think this bait would smash em , but in a topwater bait

Missed a ton of huge fish on this this summer, can not figure out how to rig this thing yet.

Trying to find a way to put a floatation device in the hollow top? Shaved down a Styrofoam ball but its not enough to keep it upright.
