I love how the dramatic part always lines up with the "Universe reveal"... Heh. Saving Megolavania until the end is brilliant as well. Finally hearing it kick in was so good.
Dude, not gonna lie, this is by far my favourite theme in the game, and is way better than Megalovania from Undertale (personally). Crossbones character is also one I actually like more than Undertale Sans. He isnt entirely lazy per say, but he does slack off and be comedic when he can, whilst also keeping his role as a hero. They did his character incredibly well during this demo and I can not wait to see more of him later down the line.
2:00 I love how Megalovania plays as Crossbones explains that he's from a different AU, and fled to the TS!UNDERSWAP AU after an incident at his universe's lab. It hits hard as this is the moment that the player realises that they are not fighting Crossbones. They are fighting SANS.

i think they're talking about sans, that hotdog vendor and festival game operator. he looks similar to crossbones (but obviously not as cool) so they get mixed up a lot
I wish they made crossbones more accurate to the original underswap sans, not exactly the same though. I'd love for him to still be a comedian, but his laziness still shows, despite the fact that underswap sans is supposed to be the hard worker

What were you expecting? I find this one to be pretty good (not groundbreaking or anything) and musical taste is different for everyone but I'd like if you could explain and/or reference a piece that reflects your expectations.
the fact you slash a cardboard cutout at the end of this fight highly suggests that we're getting a rematch, to me, it would be weird if they just made a bombastic final boss track for a midboss and one we're getting a rematch anyway.
