  • 5 Rarest Cars Of All Time! You May Never Heard Before!
We'll dive deep into the history, design, and performance of five extraordinary vehicles: the Excalibur SS, Veritas Scorpion, Tucker 48, Momo Mirage, and Griffith Series 200.
First, we'll explore the Excalibur SS, a neo-classic luxury car designed by Brooks Stevens in the style of the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK. Learn about its Studebaker origins, powerful Chevrolet Corvette engine, and the determination that led to its production from 1965 to 1990.
Next, discover the 1949 Veritas Scorpion, a post-war German sports car born from the dreams of three former soldiers. Find out how Ernst Loof's BMW 3 28 expertise influenced the Scorpion's design and why its rarity makes it so valuable today.
Then, we'll take a closer look at the visionary Tucker 48, also known as the Tucker Torpedo. Uncover the innovations and ambitions of its creator, Preston Tucker, and learn about the car's groundbreaking safety features, unique design elements, and the fascinating story behind its limited production.
Next up is the 1971 Momo Mirage, a collaboration between American businessman Peter Kalikow and master mechanic Alfred Momo. Discover how their pursuit of the perfect car led them to Italy, and marvel at the combination of American power and Italian craftsmanship that resulted in only six of these unique cars being built.
Finally, we'll explore the 1964 Griffith Series 200, also known as the TVR Griffith 200 in the UK. Learn about Jack Griffith's mission to outperform the Shelby Cobra, the challenges he faced in fitting a powerful Ford v8 engine into a TVR Grantura chassis, and why these rare sports cars are so highly sought after by collectors today.

The Veritas RS is such a beautiful car, Roy Orbison owned an Excalibur. Preston Tucker was miles ahead of the others and Tucker car's were amazing vehicles and it's so sad that they went the way they did. The momo was let down in the looks department by the ugly front end. The TVR GRIFFITH is an awesome car and one of my top 10 all-time favourites.

Veritas produced also a smaller car, called the Dyna Veritas. Based on a Panhard Chassis they built around 160 convertibles and 6 coupés from that model, ceising in 1953. But Veritas was not absorbed by BMW!

Veritas coupe styling is gratuitous and grotesque. Also, 147 mph cannot be obtained from 100 Hp unless the car is extremely light. You didn't give a weight.
