Grunt vs Ramen:
a) Complains of human food in ME2.
b) Enjoyed some spicy noodles in ME3 [Citadel].
***** He had to be drunk to eat it though. Lmho.
He does have a point though! If you think about it...it does look like worms! LOL
@@Summon256 look up tapeworms and some other parasites. they look like noodles a tad
HEEEH-HEEEH-HEEEEEE....
You know how little kids are picky eaters?
Then they grow up a bit, and realize that stuff that thought was yucky is awesome?
That's Grunt.
"I see no fewer than 14 fatal flaws that a skilled assasin could exploit. 8 of them existed when I was here 10 years ago."
So Citadel security is actively worsening. Great job C-Sec.
Not necessarily. There could have been 16 flaws 10 year ago, of which 8 have been fixed, with 6 new ones being introduced.
They probably improved upon other flaws but made new ones doing creating new things.
To be fair, Sovereign’s attack did severely damage C-Sec.
@@rtyDFGaS 2 years....
ah yes, "security", we have dismissed those claims
Listening to Zaeed story is what makes me not picking him as the squad leader of the second team. In every story, everyone dies but him.
I always found the irony in the fact that the eligible second team leaders: Garrus, Miranda, and Jacob all led teams that ultimately died leaving them the sole survivor of the squad
Aleksa Petrovic apparently, my friend chose him and all went well. Personally I always picked Garrus to be second team leader
I actually killed thane in my first me2 playthrough. I mean that ventilation sneaking thing seemed all about him. I knew It's gonna be dangerous but wasn't he just boutta die anyways
The game mechanics are bullshit, because they punish you for picking anyone even slightly out of class (like Mordin not technically being a technician, more of a doctor and scientist, doesn't work as a tech expert despite being older, tougher, quicker smarter and a more experienced researcher than Tali, and also a former spy), yet also punish you for picking Zaeed, even though he was an officer.
All the other "officers" had flaws too; but they qualify more on the basis of being officers than on the basis of being perfect leaders (even Garrus had drawbacks as a leader)
The loyalty mechanics are also bullshit because they don't allow you to change your decision for picking the wrong leader.
@@SUpersaiyajinjerkbag Mordin's a biologist. Tali's a technician. It's not a "general science" thing, it's very explicit that you need to pick a tech expert. And I admit I was upset about Zaeed at first, but the guy who posted the original comment makes a good point. Every time Zaeed tells a story, it involves a bunch of people on his squad ending up dead.
I just love how everythig Tali says is just so adorable. Definitely the most huggable of the bunch imo
mj bumagat nah if you hug her she'll get sick and die
haha tali simp funni joke 2020
Everyone’s little sister
I love how that turian is just pissing in the background while Jack describes brutal murder.
Legion is still a badass, but no one mention that hey here's a damn geth!
Take him past security and they don't even notice he's a geth. "Geth do not infiltrate." (Security fucks up) "Geth do not *intentionally* infiltrate."
They just think he's a trophy.
I love it when you have Garrus with you during Thane's speech about C-Sec. I always knew that he would have a lot to say about C-Sec.
Should have been able to introduce Mordin to Chorban.
How come?
@@fanfictiondreamer7836 They are both passionate scientists would be an interesting thing to see
I'm a little nervous about saying this, but I am enamored with Mordin. I enjoy his essentric personality and it's always fun to hear him talk. He's so fascinating.
@@fanfictiondreamer7836 understandable.
@@phillipsrulez Add to that, Chorban actually was able to scan the Keepers, and it would be really interesting to see how Mordin reacts to the findings (especially considering he emails you the results of the scans you took back in ME1)
garrus: same dirty streets, same unrepentant scavengers, same revolving-door prisons and same calibrations unfinished
Oh god Tali let's just run away together and never look back. Garrus, you can come too if you want.
Don't you lie Grunt, we all know that krogan love fish.
Its funny cause Grunt later gets arrested after stopping for noodles
I was looking for this comment!
damn Jack being through so many rapes no wonder why she's so pissed
I was thinking that's what she implied. Her borderline insanity is well justified.
She’s actually not even that far gone. Somehow she kept most of her sanity in check despite everything she went through.
She was created to be hugged. Everything about her is begging: hug me! Love me, I am everything you want.
Are we talking about Miranda or Sha’ira?
@@raylast3873 obviously tali
I thought they meant Kasumi.
@@stevenstice6683 kasumi was taken prob wont take anyone again
is it me or is Zaeed like everybodys grandad ...
is always coming up with stories where he should be starting the sentence with
"back in my day ..."
He talks like a Vietnam veteran.
And then Javik came along and actually started talking like that. "In my cycle..." He even thought Zaeed was really another Prothean in disguise.
A little reference alot of people missed, the Krogan Zaeed talks about is the bounty Hunter in the Thane mission that is in the lift, he caries a carnifex which is the "pee shooter"
Kl0zi9999 I'll gladly embrace headcanon on this but is it confirmed anywhere?
Carnifex is hardly a pea shooter tho. I used it for all of ME2.
@@raylast3873I know this reply is a couple years later, but think about it for a second. Normally guns in Mass Effect shoot high speed projectiles that are about as big as grains of sand.
Which means calling a gun in ME a peashooter would have the opposite effect and definition, since it would imply the gun is MORE devastating than average, based on the fact that a pea is WAY bigger than a sand particle.
@@christianwright7581 only if you take it literally. But it‘s an old phrase.
@@raylast3873 old, yes, but also rather apt when taking things in-universe into account.
Tali is the perfect way to end a vid... such a tasty, smooth, silky voice...
"Beginning extranet search protocols" *turns away*
Grunt emerges from a Citadel taxi all soiled and bloodied "Got anything to eat?"
A krogan is put off by food that looks like dead worms? With their whole "survive anything and everything" objective they'd go for whatever they could get.
Or maybe by "edible" Grunt means "still struggling to get away".
lol @ jack snatching Samara's pearls at 1:45
the citadel was so shit in me2 compared to me. me3 improved slightly, but i miss the expanse and and how everything was accessible by foot in ME1 so immersive. As as annoying as the elevators were, they were much better than the load screens in terms of making the areass actually feel connected
[Ids5621-Retro] Getting around and knowing where stuff was was a pain in the ass though
in me1 i mean
in me1 i mean
You kidding right? Mass Effect 1's Citadel was barren, there were very few interactive NPCs, the consort chambers, useless after 2 side quests. Dr Michel in the clinic? 1 mini quest and it was done. I like Mass Effect 1 but 2 is better at everything.
Ernesto Palacios I've also thought of that, haven't played ME1 in a few months and I keep getting lost in various places.
Imagine if mordin actually had a chance to study the keepers he might have figured out the reaper's plans before Mass effect 3.
LMFAO mordin the super scientist
I love Zaeed's story about the peashooter
Thank you, mikiroony. I'll remember that compliment!
3:00 onwards: ELCOR WALKING!!!!
Femshep, Tali, Garrus. Good team to end on.
I agree, you have quite a wonderful voice Tali
@Kannebas LOL! Thats brilliant but looking at footage from the leaked ME3 beta for the Sur'Kesh level, its more likely to be the new Scorpion Pistol that Kirrahe uses (Shepard and Co can use it later on in the mission). It fires mini grenades!
The crew members have very different opinions when it comes to Ramen :D
Thank you.
so... jack was raped?
If not in that story she definitely was after escaping pragia
@mikiroony Agreed. Agreed ultimately. Her voice turns everyone on.
Jesus, it's like there is nothing pleasant to hear from your more Paragon orientated squad mates in ME2. It actually can get pretty depressing.
Tali says almost exactly the same thing in ME3 lol
Well, Garrus is cute. Aha.
@LupineVolt Garrus couldn't come he was doing some calibrations
Okay, seriously, Tali. This is nowhere near where we first met. We met in the Wards.
It's not that far. And maybe she could had done a reference to when she presents the evidence to you and Udina.
@@sandrogamer30018 That's not a meeting, that's her officially joining the crew.
@@kadindarklord Well maybe they misinsrood that part then
So, the Krogan Battlemaster that the Grim Angels fought against had a Noisy Cricket?
Basically, yeah.
goddamnit Kasumi! Why are you not a romance option? I get the whole devoted to Keji thing, but if any were available you'd pick Space Kanye West over Shepard!?
"devoted to Keji" meanwhile she fawns over Jacob, ugh.
Funny how you got Legion past security...
Geth do not _intentionally_ infiltrate.
You deserve it, Admiral! :)
@mikiroony hehe damn right...I'd love to hear that voice talk about "interesting" things with me too ^_-
I'll leave you to your opinion about Jacob, but to be fair he does have those pouty lips. Pouty lips always drive the ladies wild. Maybe its all for the best, the ship known as "Commander Shepard" has sailed. Heard he was with Tali now. Good call on that btw. Oh and did you hear that Gabby and Kenneth are an item now! Those were two great intuitive calls Kasumi! I expect no less than a master thief... although if your game for ANYTHING I heard that Garrus is on the market! hahaha
I really should've stolen her recipe..
epic jack is epic ;D
1:51 Who here thinks the “battlemaster” was Drack?
Could be.
hold up, miranda worked at chora's den?
Jack says to me that Miranda works at Chora's Den as a stripper XD.
@@varric She probably used to work there for undercover work... in more ways than one.
@1:24 aww, the Asari lost their embassy?
This Is the most Brutal burn i have seen levied against ANY Alien specie, ever.
Hey! Jacob has the looks and charm. But if it makes you feel any better, I heard he likes someone already. I'm gamed for anything, although I consider Shep a good friend.
So in ME2, after his loyalty mission, Jacob offhandedly claims that “Miranda deserves a better man than him” and I was like “really, bro, that’s a total lie”, as while I like Miranda she is neither a paragon of virtue nor the easiest person to be around and so coming from (apparent) all-around paragon Jacob, that statement makes no sense.
Then we get to ME3, where if he was romanced, no matter what he drops Femshep like a brick, gets with a new girl in less than 6 months AND refuses to even discuss the possibility that this might have been kind of a dick move.
And now I’m like: yeah, ok, Jacob was right, Miranda deserves someone better because he turned out to be a total asshole and pretty much every woman deserves someone better.
The Citadel is always such a good place.
Except all the times they blatantly discriminate Quarians.
Grunt doesn't like noodles!!! :(
well i guess those prizoners and guards got it in with miss. jail bate jack but not for long
Oh
okay.
Maybe.
Your armor looks...different
Cant believe they fucked this up
@LupineVolt Yes please.
@mikiroony
I agree!!! She was almost trying to seduce him.
@oodsong My original crew that I ended ME1 on. Best T on T action!
tasty?
@AJweathersby Yes, it seems clear that Jack was raped.
what does morinth say?
I wonder why Samara hasn't killed Jack...
Well if you ask me, her whole “code” is basically a total lie to begin with even if she believes in it.
But in practice, going after Jack could easily get her killed, and also she’s now bound to work for Shepard.
I don't understand some of there opinions, such as garrus or the justicar (can't ever spell her name, so we will call her samful).
anyway, what I don't understand is how they talk about the citadel as if its rough and impoverished.
BUT ITS THE CITADEL!!!!!!
its the capital of the galaxy, the game goes out of it's way, especially in the first game, to show you how perfect, beautiful and wonderful it is! there is no crime or as samful calls it "injustice" on the citadel, there is no rough areas, there is nothing negative about it.
I don't understand why they speak like its a horrible place, just take a walk around the presidium and you know how impeccable that place really is
actually they don't try to make it seem perfect. well kind, they designed the Citadel to look like a perfect place, but from the first to last game you are shown imperfections of the Citadel: crime that gets willingly unnoticed, corrupted politicians, illegal AI, shadow broker agents, gampling, homeless people and I swear that one hanar can't be selling legal stuff.
the game only tries to make you think that the Citadel is perfect only when you are at the presidium, which is where the rich people live.
I don't think you understood the theme of the game (at least with the citadel).
a good accurate explanation of the citadel is given by a volus in the first game (bol a von, I think he is called) he basically says the presidium is a wonderful place were races meet to work together symbolizing how far each race has come and cooperates. he also says the wards are multi cultural amazement.
I think you got the citadel mixed with illum
and you have seemed to forgotten that there are orphans living in the airducts, some of which get killed in there without no one knowing. The Citadel more complex than what some volus says about it, a lot of unseen/untalked about shit goes down behind (or even in front of) the public.
I don't understand. This is the citadel, it's an utopia! its meant to be a perfect combination of multiculturalism and political greatness.
crime, orphans and poverty just don't happen at the citadel.
Joshua Ames-stewart well either the people saying it is an utopia are lying or the people who have witnessed all the imperfections are lying. I'm putting my money on thane instead of a random volus.
