- Welcome to my next Automation Campaign Let's Play! In this episode, Carota Motors is founded with no money, and a dream of making cheap, tiny cars that everyone can afford. It's my first campaign on the Ellisbury update, so there are a lot of new features to play with.
I had some audio recording trouble, and I had to tweak or re-record some lines. (Noise Gate filter, never again!) So if the speech audio sounds inconsistent or just awful, that's why. Hopefully next video should be better.

More body styles is my vote. Ideally, something for families, light delivery, and for the passenger fleet markets. So, wagon, van, and/or pickup. Otherwise, eeey, more automation.

Very excited to have discovered you when looking for an automation let's play. Given most everyone only seems to use it for the beamng aspect and just making wacky stuff. But, i was looking for someone playing the actual career mode to learn it myself.
Tho, when designing the cars, do you also put the effort into making the interior of the car, for using the driver cam in beam yourself or do you just leave it a shell? I assume the latter given the opaque glass, and the fact I'm sure it would add another couple hours to the design process.

Upgrading to 3/4 speeds is always a good idea.
In Italian, carota means carrot, I think the orange color fits best

FWD wil make the driveability score go up, dont know how much engineering that brings with it. Maybe another facelift, as the body does not have an age penalty (yet). And try to get the cost down with an own engine factory and match it with the current car factory or a bigger one if that is possible.
I've already recorded the next episode, but FWD will be on the table as we might be looking at doing a new model next!

Hey, Biomek, i watched your Carota series (so far) and felt inspired to try out the 100x playthrough too, but in the country of Archana. Would you give a few advices on how to ake money there?
In Archana, you have two general markets that make sense to target. The common people of Archana have a low budget and need very cheap cars, but there are a lot of them. Or, you can export Luxury/GT cars to Dalluha where they have a high budget, and an OK size for those markets. Targeting those rich luxury buyers is far easier, and you will want to spend your marketing budget in Dalluha to make it effective. This is especially true for 100x, where you're starting with a tiny or small factory and can't make many cars, so each car needs to earn a lot of money. Starting at 100x difficulty and selling to Archana regular markets is the ultimate challenge, but a few people have proven it can be done.

Tho is actually not uncommon that italian companies give foreign names at their products, and vice versa, just look at kinder bueno for example,
