I will spend 3 days in Moab, but after watching this video, I'd like to stay for one week!
There is so much to do.
Can you recommend a beginner/moderate mountain biking trail in Moab to do with 10 and 14 year olds? Donât think they can do electric bikes but would enjoy an actual MTB trail.
I don't know any specific MTB trails but this blog post might help you www.discovermoab.com/mountain-biking-for-beginners/
Moab is one of my favorite places in USA. I normally stay at Red Cliffs Lodge. Potash Road is a favorite. When it comes to petroglyphs I love to go to the Needles area and take a look at Newspaper Rock. And a little more expensive a Hummer tour in the slick rocks. Also a visit to the winery at the lodge. And my daughter had a nice horseback ride from there. And also free is looking at the cable car to nowhere if it's still there. Unfortunately my visit to Moab next month has been cancelled as we have chosen another route for our road trip because of the close down of northen Yellowstone NP.
The only ghost town I have visited in Utah is Soldier Summit and not much was left there on my last visit.
Daddy Sage, you've been everywhere!!
@@WereintheRockies Unfortunately not.đ So far 41 of the contiguous states and I will add 6 more in July, but only a short stretch in Utah on my way from Green River, Wy to Denver, Co via Grand Junction.
@@wncjan Then you'll only have 3 more!
@@WereintheRockies Yes. Alaska, Hawaii and for some reason I never managed to visit Delaware đ
Thank you for this comment. Red Cliffs lodge looks incredible! My fiancĂŠ and I will now be staying there on our upcoming trip to Moab!
We will visit the Big Five in April/May 2023, so we should by the one pass for all the parks?
Yes, definitely! Have a great trip.
My wife and I booked a last minute trip to Moab and learned about the time reserve for the parks too late. Their isnât any slots left. Can we still have a good time there?
You can get tickets the day before, and you can also enter after 4. Lots of great stuff in Moab to do as well. We have a playlist and see our website as eell
Matt: I am not seeing your Moab guide on the website... is that still pending?
Yes, pending!
The best thing to do after being out on the trail all day is to go to the moab diner and have a banana split, share it with someone, it will be the best you have ever had.. cheers.
Yum!
